I worked in a union environment and the negotiated rates were considered a minimum. There was nothing to stop management from giving a bonus to people who stood out over and above the norm. They could also be promoted as the seniority clause only affected the very lowest groups. No reason to take these over-the-top right-wing haters seriously. If they had their way, there would be no wage scales at all, no minimum wage, and employers would hold all the cards. **** that ****. |
