As I said before Willie-boy. the people who actually sail a boat
somewhere don't talk much about cruising or voyaging they usually just
saw "we went". When you start to differentiate between cruising and
voyaging you, first of all, are quoting something that Lynn Pardey
wrote and if you had read the Pardey's to any extent you'd realize
that Lynn, particularly, is hell bent on proving that they, THE
PARDEYS, are just do much better then anyone else. Thus THEY voyage
while the rest of us commoners just cruise.

But now that you have seized on Lynn's statement to justify your live
then be happy. You aren't a cruiser, or a voyager, as the term is
commonly used and your boating knowledge is from the books in your
"extensive library".

You obviously know nothing about how living aboard away from a dock and
cruising when the fancy strikes without having to prepare for weeks or
months in advance is the very essence of cruising.

What do you think, Wilbur?
Would this one do?

Might make a good live-aboard-at-a-dock boat. This is the type of boat that
only a "Bruce in Bangkok" would love.

That particular Morgan will go to weather about as well as a haymow. It's
sad that anybody would buy a sailboat that doesn't really sail and has a
huge motor in a failed attempt to compensate. The interior is designed to
attract the distaff side in that it looks like and is equipped like an
apartment ashore.

Willie-boy, as I've mentioned a number of times. I'm in Thailand and
you are in S. Florida..

And, who is the sailor?
Cheers,

Certainly not the so-called sailor who only managed to complete about half
of his way-too-lofty goals. Now he's stuck in a third-world backwater
because of it, too fearful to carry on. Beaten by a voyage he lacks the
necessary skills to complete. Not as pathetic as poor Joe, who failed in
close proximity to his home port, but not admirable either.

Failure is defined by not reaching a goal. You failed. I did not. I have met
every goal I have set for myself to date.

That is why you live on a 500 dollar boat, crap in buckets, and steal
batteries from Wal-Mart.
You set the bar so low, failure is not an option. Pathetic at best.

And by the way my boat has 4 sinks, two heads with two showers and 3
staterooms.
I did not have to beg, borrow or steal anything to get it.

Overkill.

Willie the Pooh doesn't use all that effeminate stuff.... doesn't
****, shower or shave..... at least part of the reason he doesn't have
a girl on that boat (except for the cat).

Bruce

Given that I have lived for more than half of my life in Asia I wonder
where you came up with your misconception that I ever intended to go
further.

But of course you don't have misconceptions you simply make it up,
unfortunately your blathering is simply "ignorance in action'.

Wilbur: The proper length for your dinghy oars is short enough to fit
inside the boat.

Every other waterman in the world: "Oars should be long enough to
reach the water".

Willie: Publishes direction how to steal from WalMart.

The rest of us: "Is this guy so stupid to steal the cheap stuff that
Wally World sells for hooch?"

Willie declines to go sailing when the wind is below 5 MPH. Later in
the say it picks up to 7 mph and he decides to head for shore - the
wind is too strong for proper sailing.

I could go on but why bother. One guy abandons his boat believing he
and his crew are in danger. Willie sits at home and slanders the guy
based on a picture on the TV. A real show of the 'sailorboy's' real
colors. Does he say I was within 10 miles of you and didn't even
bother closing the cabin hatch? Nope, he says he saw it on the TV.

Willie the sailorman. Just ask him and he'll tell you where you went
wrong and never, never, backs up his assertions with even an iota of
experience. Willie the fool is a bit closer to the center of the
target.

Nope Willie, as a critic of marine activities you are about as
qualified as Winnie the Pooh. Willie the Pooh?

Cheers,

Bruce

You expect me to believe your goal was a Bangkok backwater? Yah, right!

ONE of the attributes of a proper-length dinghy oar is that it fits into the
length of the dinghy. Get a clue and stop twisting my words.

And, whatever happened to your kill file? It seems to have as many holes in
it as "Red Cloud's" transom. LOL!

Hello Richard,

You enjoying the Jessica Wilbur show? Neals off his meds again.

Cannibal is tied up in front of my old building in El Lago, right
where RedCloud use to be moored, she is a pretty boat.
You interested? I know the boat and the owner if you need any more
info.

Check out this hull: http://www.sailboatlistings.com/view/16201
She's trashed inside, but might be a good project boat.

Joe
