What about the entire Republic...I mean State of Texax?

Funny you should mention Texas. I've spent a lot of time there, and it
always seemed to me, Texans are Texans first, and Americans second.
Don't get me wrong, Texans are damn fine Americans, but they do seem to
take their state more seriously than most Americans take their respective
states.

Look, McCain's motto is "Country First", and he's lived his life
accordingly. The AIP's motto is "Alaska First, Alaska Always". The
Party's founder, Joe Vogler, is buried in Canada, because he didn't wish
to be buried under the American Flag. It might amount to nothing, but I
think Palin should be asked to clarify the situation.

Here's a question for you or anyone else.

How do you think Palin will fare at a *real* press conference for a
couple of hours where *real* reporters ask the usual sort of tough
questions?

Or, do you think McCain will let her have such an event?

Harry,
Why don't you just take rec.boats out of the posting NG, and post at
sci.military.naval?

Why was it necessary for Mama Moose to disclose her daughter's pregnancy?

Because she failed to do it when her selection was announced.

Everyone in her home town already new about it and she had told McCain
about it too.

In American politics, every aspect of a candidate's personal life has
become grist for the mill. Her personal life includes her family.

Excellent. Let's start talking about Obama's ties to the Communist Party
of the USA.

I don't think he'll be able to avoid it. So far, I don't see anything
that will disqualify her, depending on the results of the trooper
investigation. However, I can't for the life of me, see what she brings
to the ticket. And her vetting? McCain's campaign is starting to look
amateurish.

Do you mean the tough questions that they ask Obama or the the tough
questions they ask Republicans?

Or, do you think McCain will let her have such an event?

There's your answer. You and Reggie say the same thing. Maybe some new
blood will make this newsgroup interesting again. I'm tired of reading
about golf games, travel trailers, little kids racing motorcycles,
guitars, et cetera, the usual fare in here.

Shall we make a list of the things we are tired of reading originating from
you, including the foul mouthed, personal insults that you have become so
infamous for?

You're cute. You complain about the OT posts, yet you initiate the majority
of them, saturate the place with political cut and pastes, then claim the NG
has gone down the tubes.

I am done. I have far more interesting and important things to do than to
spend my time debating a hypocritical, self centered blowhard.

It was fun for a while, but the stink is getting to be too much.

He's being paid on his Union "consulting" contract per post - I heard
something like $2.90 per post - part of his "political" activity
required by contract.

Based on his past ranting's and ravings, one might suppose that Krause
is held in high esteem by anarchists. You know, the kind that throw
bleach at 80 year old men and women attending a political convention -
or cement/sand bags off bridges at buses heading for the convention -
storm trooper terror tactics and let's not forget kill flawed babies
because they don't fit the model for being human, make up stuff and
post it on the Internet in a sort of agit-prop - that kind of thing.

Psst - heard all the above on the grapevine - can't prove it of course
- all unsubstantiated rumor - well, except for the part about killing
babies - that's true, but the rest - well, you know it fits the
situation on circumstance - 100 posts day is almost $300. And he has
advocated violence in the past - not directly, but indirectly using
provocative language and insults. So you know - connect the dots.

I'm doing a Google search right now for pictures of Krause in clown
regalia - which according to rumor (strictly on the hush hush you
understand - just between you and me) - I've been told that there are
pictures out there under the clown name Yo Ho - The Butt Pirate. Any
help in either confirming or dispelling these vicious rumors would be
appreciated. He does have a Yo Ho pirate graphic on his boat and he
has professed a favorable view of gay issues and he is a clown. It's
not a stretch to connect some dots.

There is also a rumor of Krause being in a gay midget porn movie -
we'll have to keep digging on that one because - well because we
wouldn't want to make it appear that somebody appeared in a gay midget
porn movie when he didn't - which he did according to rumor, but we
can't say that he did unless we actually find Krause acting in a gay
midget porn movie.

Not that there is anything wrong with that. Gay Midget Porn that is.

It's all supposition folks - let's not get carried away.

But you know - rumors have an element of truth in them.

You mean, *legally* disqualify her? You're probably right, though that
troopergate mess might spit out something serious, such as perjury, if
she lies to the official investigators.

What she brings to McCain's campaign is a bone to throw to the
simple-minded evangelicals. She's the bone. They eat her up because,
well, she is so very "righteous" to them.

If it is true, as it has been reported, that McCain only met her once,
and briefly, before making the phone call inviting her on the ticket,
then he, indeed, is an amateur.

Wasn't it Krause who said his Navy (Yo-Ho) ("is based upon nothing but
rum, sodomy, and the lash."). I am not sure if there is any truth to
the rumor, but blogs are stating that he is looking for a new cabin boy.
