Still waiting for an answer to the question that was asked...

The mother decided to accept John McCain's invitation to be his running
mate in his quest for the presidency. In this country, that means your
entire life history and that of your family becomes grist for the mill.

Perhaps if Mama Moose had not been so adamantly opposed to sex education
in the schools, including proper instruction on birth control, Baby
Moose might have avoided getting pregnant.

My guess is that parents who oppose the teaching of proper sex education
in the schools don't provide that education at home, either. Instead,
they preach abstinence. Well, the rhythm method and abstinence probably
are the two best ways to get pregnant when you don't want to, since
neither method works well on horny teenagers.

For all we know, Baby Moose came to Mama Moose several months ago and
asked for help in getting an abortion, and was turned down. Or perhaps
Baby Moose doesn't want to marry the father of her child, but Mama Moose
is forcing her into it. I hope *that* doesn't become part of the daily
news. I wish Baby Moose well. The best thing she can do, probably, is
move away from that dysfunctional family.

The Baby Moose's boyfriend had a Myspace page that is now removed. On
it, he described himself as a M_F_ing Redneck, and stated that he
never wants kids.

I see a bright future for all of them...

I don't think he'll be able to avoid it. So far, I don't see anything
that will disqualify her, depending on the results of the trooper
investigation. However, I can't for the life of me, see what she brings
to the ticket. And her vetting? McCain's campaign is starting to look
amateurish.

She was clearly named on pure merit without regard to gender or any
other issues

She is not an affirmative action token She made it on her own merit

She is unquestionably the most qualified person any Republican ever saw

She is a gun nut on the cover of Vogue

to Republicans there are no other qualifications that matter

No wonder they are swooning with pleasure

I meant to say, Vince, you didn't believe the daughter had a boyfriend, that
it was all made up.

He's a cute kid. I do hope that she thinks long and hard before getting
married .... so young, and everything.

Before he set his MySpace page to private, it said: "I'm a M-Fing
Redneck. It also said: I never want any kids.

A real winner! The Palins are starting to make the Spears family look
high class.

I doubt she has a choice in the matter. Mama sez: "Married! And before

The fact that a 17 year old is pregnant and you are making such a big deal

when jamie lynn spears got pregnant you rightwingers went ballistic saying
it was more proof of a decaying depraved society.
now when its a republican's kid its okay, no big deal, happens.

In my heart, I believe the anti-abortionists are that way because of
psychological, rather than religious reasons, anyway. It is a patriarchal

women.

Sure. Right. A method to control women......

It has absolutely nothing to do with the rights of the unborn child, does
it?

Eisboch

Ahh...the Fetus Rights Movement, a division of the Fundamentalist Borg
Church, no doubt.

Now *that's* damn respectful!

The problem is, I suspect, that evangelical parents do not teach their
children about sex, contraception and avoidance of disease. What they
teach is abstinence, which, along with the rhythm method, leads
to...pregnancy.

What did the mother do? Obviously, a ****-poor job of preparing her
daughter for the side effects of sexuality.

Through your life have you followed everything your parents taught you?

Teaching and acceptance by the student don't necessisarily go hand in
hand.

when jamie lynn spears was pregnant you ruight wingers acted like
civilization was falling.
now its "it happens no big deal"

if chelsea clinton had gotten knocked up the right would have gone into
hyper-drive attacking teenage promiscuity.
now its "well, gee, it can't be helped"

that's why dems favor adequate sex education.

now palin wants to make a law for others of what she can't successfully
teach at home.
