It'll be loud, flashy, and it'll improve the gene pool. I've only got four to six boxes each of .22LR, 45ACP, 45LC, and a few boxes of shotgun shells, so I'm not hoarding. ![]() At what point does hoarding simply become investing? If you never shoot, you are hoarding but if you believe you will shoot the ammo eventually it is just an investment. I feel a whole lot better about going to the range and shooting 15 cent shots than those guys who are shooting at 75 cents a round and not sure if they will have any next week. Greg that's the way I look at it. I really don't go shooting ofr the sake of burning up brass, but several years ago (about 25), I bought govt. surplus .223 at .14c. a round in bulk. I thought it was worth copping a couple thousand count. "Dirty" Chinese 7.62x39 surplus? 1500 rd. per crate at .07c. a shot. I figured that was worth 3 crates. ..44 mag, .357, .22- same deals and likewise, same types of quantities. |
