Whoa! Thanks. I've bookmarked that page.

You might like gunbot a little better.

Everything less than 16 cents a shot is sold out.

That is still pretty spendy for .22 rf

Indeed, the gun boys did a wonderful job ramping up paranoia among the

sheeples.

I wouldn't doubt that. But paranoia is also whatalso causes people to apply for Conceal/Carry permits.

Well, your buddy John and his wife are getting theirs, right?

I don't know. He's never told me. But if they did, maybe it's to keep up with their Maryland neighbor.

Beats me...

Oh, I got my Maryland permit with the help of my lawyer, who viewed
certain documents and suggested a CCW might be appropriate. I got one of
the others for personal protection for the then frequent drives we were
making down I-95 to Florida, although there was no "coverage" in South
Carolina, which I've always considered the most dangerous stretch of
that interstate.

Well, those are way more reasons than I've ever felt that I've needed. I've never carried dangerous documents that might get my head blown off, and I been in North and South Carolina many times and never expected any trouble any where I went. In fact, I've always felt that folks there were downright friendly.

They are unless you have a chip on your shoulder and a bad attitude to
match. Oh wait, maybe that would explain our hero's problem. And
that long trail of debris he's left behind him - quite possible that
some people might be following that. :-)

Where did you get the idea the documents "were dangerous" or might get
my head "blown off"? I never said or implied anything like that.

I'm sorry, Harry. Maybe I was stating too lightly. I've never a reason to have a "lawyer, who viewed certain documents and suggested a CCW might be appropriate."

I don't live dangerously nor in a fearful lifestyle.

But it looks like you were involved in some serious doo doo. The kind that can make you sweat at night an sit in a corner facing the doorway.

Funny, I go to NC a few times every year. Never felt paranoid about it.
