and afganistan? guess you havent heard of 9/11.

Yeah I heard of it. I also heard the people who planned it have not
been in Afghanistan for 6 years.

hmmm...again you need to read the news.

the taliban just abducted 2 US servicemen the other day

The Taliban had nothing to do with 9-11. They are simply reacting to
our invasion of their country.

Not directly, but they were certainly allowing bin laden to do whatever he
wanted inside the Afg. border.

That was then, this is now and OBL is not in Afghanistan. We have
managed to push that problem into a country that is a lot more
dangerous than Afghanistan and almost as unstable, getting worse every
day.

Then or now, it doesn't matter. If we can stabilize Afg., then we have a
better chance of finishing him.

Yeah buddy they expect a whopping 0.4% drop in unemployment this year.

Well, is that better than an increase? Seems to me lower is better.

OK well at that rate we will get back to the 2007 unemployment rate in
2023

And your solution is?

A new President, Congress, and House. Coming soon to a country near you!

how'd that work out?

About the same as Afghanistan, what's your point.?
Obama is still in both places.

And, the troop numbers in Iraq are dropping as per his stated objective..

I suppose you heard about the Afghan surge? They still have more
people GOING IN.

And, they have an exit strategy. A flexible one, but a stated one. Next
question.

Yes, yes, D'Plume. And exit strategy which is second only to the exit
strategy for Gitmo.

You are debating with a hot headed bitch. Stop and she will STFU!

well, i always said the right was full of bull****

Atta was living in Germany too. Does that mean the Germans helped him
plan the attack?

let me know when they take you out of your rubber room

now let me see. your argument is that the taliban knew NOTHING about
al qaida??

or are you playing an asshole and trying to draw some equivalence
between bin laden's residencey in afghanistan, and atta's passage
through germany?

because if THAT'S your argument, you're a WHOLE lot dumber than even I
thought you had the capability to be.

the taliban had control of kabul on 9/11. osama bin laden was living
in a taliban controlled area and had daily contact with the taliban on
9/11

Daily contact? You know this how? Nobody has ever implicated anyone in
the Taliban in 9/11 except that they let OBL live there/

now let's see...who bankrolled the taliban?

uh. bin laden

who refused to turn bin laden over to the US?

the taliban.

so now you're defending the nazi movement known as al qaida

i KNEW you were right wing. i DIDNT know you were a nazi. i almost
NEVER accuse anyone of being a nazi; godwin's law is too easy to
violate

but you? you're a nazi. yep. you're a nazi.

When people actually start reading "Pentagon papers II" this war will
go the way of Vietnam.

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

can't help it you're stupid, dude. you did that to yourself

We will see won;t we

hey genius.

what particular aspect of these documents comes as news to you?

because NO ONE is surprised by ANYTHING in those documents.

except for you and your nazi sympathies.

the difference is there was no reason to go to iraq even though the
right wing wanted it.

I never wanted it, don't lump me in with people who want war in ther
middle east.

you want war in the middel east. you just want it to be successful
against the US

you're probably the most anti-american guy on the newsgroup

there was, and is, a reason to be in afghanistan. but you're a fascist
sympathizer so cant stand to watch a fascist insurgence held at bay

and you're a liar.

Why is that? What have I lied about?

gee. read your entire post. goebbels would be proud.

You really weaken your arguments with personal attacks. It just
demonstrates you have nothing of substance to say.

other than i proved you're a nazi?

go figure

what's funny is, i'm a relative newcomer to this newsgroup. i was
surprised when the right wing guppies, who think they're sharks,
started after obama.

it's fun treating them like kittens. you dangle the truth in front of
them, and they get all hyper....

And who is the poster child for hyper?

at this point it's 'gfretwell' with his nazi sympathies for al qaida

he honestly hates america. the rest of you guys love america...you're
seriously ****ed up, but i wouldnt question your patriotism
