your next book is about your days turning tricks on 42nd Street?

dude, the only one even claiming to even think about buying your book was
felton, and he doesn't have the money to buy a candy bar lunch, let alone a
book.

Oh, I think I can scrape the money together. I was saving up for some
Ebay oars, but I would rather have the book:)

...wacko ...that's my book. Maybe ...?

yeah, wacko is right if you think you can get anyone to believe the pittance
royalities on a remaindered 10 days after publication book will buy a Garcia.

What is the title of your book? Who is the publisher, and how can i get a
copy to read? I reserve judgment untill then, also assistance.

Curious...we're supposed to have free speech here in Amerika, so why

would
they call you "undesirable" unless you were hitting on the immigrations
chick? What book is this that has banned you? I may want to buy it.

There is an arrest warrant for me in the UK for publishing this book. As a
result, the USA will not give me a visa, since they depend on UK to back
them up when they invade other countries, and so do them favours in return
like making life difficult for me.

dum dum, *you* said *you* broke a Brit law and they wish to arrest you

for
it.
that is not our problem, but rather yours.

we don't give visas to people who are wanted for criminal actions in

other
countries.

Except that what I did is not against the law in your country. It is as if

I
was a Saudi who had drunk some beer in Mecca - would you support the

arrest
of all Saudis who drink beer? Like I said, maybe the French police should
start arresting all Amerikan women who flash their nipples on the Cote
D'Azur. You obviously don't know much about law do you?

You obviously didn't read how much compensation I got lol!

you mean how much you say you got.

So, let's take a guess, shall we?

--how many books were printed?

on that kind of book, MAYbe 5,000.

-- how many books were sold to bookstores?

MAYBE 2,500

-- how many were sent back by the book stores as unsaleable?

probably about half

-- how many net sales?

about 1250

what was the royality %?

10% is usual for anyone but an extreme celebrity.

-- what was cover price of book?

I didn't check, but let's say thirteen dollars.

-- net sales income?

about $16,000

-- to the author?

no, $1,600 is total royalties at 10%

-- the author got $1,600?

no he had to pay his agent $160.

-- that's not a lot of money.

certainly not enough to buy a Garcia with.

-- I thought authors got rich

some do, most wait tables of teach high school

-- how about the big time writers of nautical guides and such. They got rich,
right?

most make less than a few hundred dollars a year on their books.

-- can I buy a Garcia on a few hundred dollars?

ah, no.

-- maybe the guy sold 500,000 books?

ah, no.

-- maybe he sold more than 1250?

maybe

-- maybe he sold more than 12,500

maybe, but that would be unusual for that type of book.

-- maybe he sold more than 125,000 books?

yeah. maybe

-- could he buy a Garcia for $150,000?

not usually. besides, he wouldn't have that in aftertax income.

-- you mean he is lying to us?

well, he does make about 9% of the selling price of each bood sold. he got
Felton to say *he* wanted a book. So, if Felton comes through, the guy made
maybe a buck, less taxes for his efforts today. If he in fact has earned out
his advance at this point. Most books of this type never earn out their
advance.

-- perhaps you know people in the business?

perhaps.

Actually, it is published in German, French, Catalan, Spanish, and Russian
too. The version you see on Amazon is just the UK version - it was published
in English in Australia and NZ too. It was also serialised in the Sunday
Times. But you obviously didn't understand my point - the compensation was
paid to me by the European Court of Human Rights, because what the UK
governement did to me was illegal under European law. But whatever, I'm not
actually paying for the Garcia with money from the book - I've already spent
all that. And thanks again for all the free publicity you are giving me, I
wouldn't normally mention my book on usenet but you don't seem to want to
drop the subject so carry on. Maybe I'll send you a cut and you can buy
yourself a MacGregor.

Yeah Ric,

And the British hung "Nathan Hale" because he refused to do what you so
willingly did.

The difference between a "Patriot and a Traitor"

Again You mock our values but want access to advantages. Get lost!

Pay the man his price for the boat, get a bill of sale and register it
in the 'Wonderful Lands of the Crooked Frogs"

I for one don't want you.

If you buy it in New York I do believe you will have to pay a State
Sales Tax and then a tax on the difference between the Euro/ Dollar
value. So, Take care of your preferred life style and get LOST
