The radio was a replacement Pioneer unit bought for me by my son Christmas
2005. Original Mopar unit had just gone south that fall.


Joe will tell you that the Mopar unit died because it was made on the
same manufacturing equipment that everyone else uses, but "Mopar" sets
the equipment to use "looser" standards.


With regard to machined parts, that is actually the truth. But, having
nothing better to do today, you will now dispute it. Have fun.

Actually the texture of the steering wheel is not the biggest problem
with lifting prints. The cumulative layers of skin oil/acids that are
added by each person who drives the car make it virtually impossible
to distinguish new prints from old, because they all blend into a
blob. Same problem with doorknobs, handles, any surface that's handled
frequently. Unless, of course, you carefully clean all surfaces each
time you or anyone else touches them. Yeah, right.

Well, he's got some Chow in him (ears), maybe a little German Shepard
(muzzle/coloration/tail)), a little Golden Retriever (based on color)
- plus whatever else stumbled in the back door along the way. Classic
Heinz.

My kind of solution. Although I would add that impalement would be a
much better choice.

And it would give the graffitti artists another target.
