Pot is racist?


Its use was initially attacked early in the last century by the
government because Southern lawmakers thought its use by black people led
to madness and criminal behavior. Obviously, these lawmakers were happy
to ignore all the violence caused by drunkenness. The next myth used by
the law enforcement mob was that pot use led to harder drugs, an anecdote
that's been totally shredded by actual statistics.
