If Specter wants to run as a Democrat he can finish his term as a Republican and then run as a Democrat in 2010. There is an implied contract with the voters that he will be who he says he is for the term he is being elected to represent them. So, call him a Republican if you want. Perhaps, now he is full filling that implied contract with all of the Democrats who have been voting for him all these years. He's won his past Senate elections with an average @60%. There aren't that many Republicans in Pennsylvania. Graham is loosing all of his liberal buddies, most commonly identified as RINO's. How long do you think South Carolina is going to put up with him? Graham running for President, you have got to be kidding or drunk. LOL, the American Conservative Union gave him a 89.79 conservative rating. He's hardly a Liberal. http://www.acuratings.org/2008senate.htm |
