Eisboch I'm supposed to give a crap about professional football? Didn't ask you. I got a kick out of something. Believe it or not, I am really not a political hack and don't pay a lot of attention to the games that are played or the backroom deals. But over the years a few politicians have imprinted either a very positive or a very negative impression in my mind for one reason or another. Not all Dems are negative and not all Republicans are positive. But Specter has always impressed me as someone who takes care of Specter, first and foremost, and he's reinforcing that image again. Turns out, from listening to many of the comments coming from both sides of the political spectrum, my impression is not a unique one. The Dems are taking to him like a little kid used to take castor oil. Smells and tastes like crap, but overall, it's good for you. I guess. Eisboch |

The need for militias went out the window when the US decided to maintain standing armies in the 1950s. I still consider hunting an honorable pursuit if it's not just for sport but for sustenance. The NRA, gun manufacturers and politicians end up protecting vigilantes. *Until they're personally affected by one of these paranoid idiots, they'll continue to succumb to political pressure. You can't buy a firearm because of prior convictions or because of psychological problems?- Hide quoted text - - Show quoted text - So, **** for brains wants me to go back and google his posts.. snerk Sorry Harry, I have a life, however I guarantee you 90% of the folks reading know I don't lie here, as well as 98% of the folks here know you always do... Pretty good waffle, especially for a dimwit like you. The reality is, and you know it, you've simply made up another tale about me that suits your purposes and when push comes to shove, you've got nothing with which to back it up. I obey firearms laws. If you are on my front doorstep and knocking, I might answer and I might not. If you bust in and you're not a uniformed cop or obviously some other sort of sworn law enforcement type*, you are going go get your head blown off. You're a liar. BTW, which is it for you? Previously conviction or admission or psychological problems? * Not bloody likely cops are going to be busting in my door. They're too busy throwing the Dwarf down the stairs. Is that like " Dwarf Tossing"? |
