I'm always surprised when I discover people don't like swiss. It seems
so basic.

Swiss comes in so many varieties and flavors. I've know folks who
claimed to hate Swiss cheese, only to devour half my wedge of Jarlsberg.
Guess they must have started on Lorraine Swiss, which can be a little
bitter.

I luv Jarlsberg! I make grilled cheese under the broiler so the cheese
gets toasted brown spots...

stinky cheese is the best cheese...I like all the varieties of Swiss...my
alltime favorite cheeses, though, are the Stiltons...having a difficult
time finding a store down here that carries them...up north the regular
grocers have Stiltons in their cases, but not down here...

It's winter now, so I can send you a 'care package,' if you want.

As you probably know we don't have D&Ws here in Indiana, but the A-Dock
party is this coming weekend, so I'll check them out. I've never seen it at
Meijers, but I've never looked for it.

How much do you want, if I can find it?

Thanks but you really don't have to do that...Heather's coming down for
Christmas with the girls and can get her to stow some away in her
luggage (with my 10 packages of cranberry jello)...the suitcase
inspectors are going to have a heydey with her luggage! I truly
appreciate the thought though...I'm also having her throw in some
Vernor's...it's amazing what they don't have here...I had to import
Vernor's when I lived in St Louis too, but finally found a gourmet shop
that carried it (at twice the price, of coutrse)

The only thing I found at Meijer is Crandale, which is Wensleydale cheese
with sweetened, dried cranberries. Never had it, so I can't comment. Ever
tried it?
