Default DEALS on Sails for ASA'ers

If it makes no difference then why hide it? You don't have to divulge
the
Loft's name.

It makes a difference to divulge it here...because this is troll world.
This ends the discussion on this deal. I'm glad one person here will do
well by it, besides me.
Like your van thread, this is now a dead topic. Only direct e-mail on
the topic and a phone call will get you more info. As to the rest of
your guesses on profits, my profit and so on...all dead wrong and
hugely so.

Buh bye.

Don't forget folks it's fall. Every sailmaker in the world is looking
for business and a 25% discount is typical at this time of the year.

If anyone thought you
had an ounce of integrity you might actually sell something

they think of me.

Funny you should say that. Early this year, a friend of mine
wanted to buy a boat in your area and called this number you
gave. When he mentioned getting you to take a look at the
boat for him, the person answering the phone laughed.

Probably not, they laugh at him too.

If Bubbles actually had a good deal to rpesent on sails, he
could say something like "The sail loft I'm working with
offers a basic quote of X $/sq-ft, call around and see if
any others will beat that." Instead he just has more dumbo
bluster. He'll probably say "bwahaha" at some point.

There are a number of people in this forum who have bought
sail in the recent past, and by their accounts have done
well enough that they don't need advice from me on the
topic; and certainly not advice Bubbles.

"Nonsense. There are bound to be issues. My van also had a noisy fuel
pump. Kia replaced the WHOLE VAN.
My Subaru ALSO had a noisy fuel pump. Took weeks to fix.
My 2006 Sedona has been perfect after 5000 miles and we keep getting
calls from Major Kia to make sure we're happy. Free oil changes too!
My friend's 2005 Toyota Sienna has tranny and window problems. But even
without those problems he prefers my Sedona because it's got a real
engine in it. The poor Sienna can't get out of it's own way.

Even you admit you are an ass in the forum. Who
would do business with an ass. It is too bad you
have lost your credibility. This is something you will
never regain.

That's true, Bart....but we've spoken on the phone, have we not? I
don't think either of us would say the other is an "ass" in the real
world. You sounded like a nice guy, you told me of your superior
sailing experience and I respected it all the way. If I had some kind
of terrible rep, my yard would not keep me around. Those guys are
Italian and take no crap. That's the real world.
This is ASA and we all let off steam and blow smoke and so on. A few
folks like Doug and Sloco grandstand and want to pretend that this is a
"serious" forum for sailing. But you know as well as I do that there is
little real traffic here with our small group of regulars. In 10 years
I've been spotted by someone outside of ASA while doing business
exactly one time. It didn't hurt the sale.
Folks here troll plenty....but if Scotty could save me money on a
camera, I'd take him up on it...if he offered. I know you have some
kind of relationship with North. I also have one with Doyle. But this
new deal is special and the quality is higher for less money.
Turn-around may be slower, but reasonable for off season. If you really
think I'm such a bad person in the real world, then forget it. No
problem. I made the offer and that's that. I'm not making the sails or
even measuring for them. I'm not even a middle man, in spite of Gilly's
silly trolls.

Of course we don't think you're a bad person. We just think
that you must have a fairly serious psychological problem or
you wouldn't act the way you do.

That's good, considering that you apparently have no clue
what the black bands are for.

Don't forget...
Bubbles, you're nuts!

North settled on delamination claims, Gilligan. They couldn't go to
trial. Try a google search on the 3DL problems. Now try to imagine that
no one sued. My friend did. His 3DL didn't even last a single season
before delaminating.
Want direct proof? E-mail me and I'll put you in contact with him.
