Default Newbie sailor here.

Dear Diane,

Oh boy can I relate to your question.

What you do is bring along lots of girlfriens who can quickly take
control of your boat if your husband faints, has a heatattack, or panic
attacks. Thats what I do, but do not let your husband in on our little
secret, it will crush him. Make him think all the girls are wild about
him.

The best thing to do is make sure you can swim btw.
