Went to alt.sailing and it is pitiful with 13 messages starting with a
Hardcore message and wanting teenagers and on..... We have a 73 Balboa
22 ft. (I think). any other recommendations?

You might better try alt.sailing (no asa). There is a great deal less
traffic there, but it is almost always about sailing and it is read by
people that might be interested in helping you and not venting
political propaganda or bragging about some foolish event.
