I never said anything of the kind. All I said is that I've never seen it
or heard of it.

Holy backpedal, Batman!!!!

The whole truth and nuthin' but the truth. No backpedal. But go ahead
and say that 1- everybody knows you're full of **** and 2- it'll help
you feel like you're "winning."

critique away.........

Nice looking day for a sail, nice clean decks. You should flake or
coil your lines. Sail looks to be set just fine for the conditions. By
the looks of your flag seems it blowing a bit. Looks Ok to me.

Where are you sailing?

Did you leave Plowsville?

When were the pictures taken?

It had died some when I took the pic.

Where are you sailing?

Chesapeake Bay, known as the Finest Cruising Grounds in the World. That's
Rock Hall , where we spent the prev. night, behind us

Did you leave Plowsville?

Got to sometimes. The one thing that's missing in Plowville is sailing
water.

When were the pictures taken?

6/6/04, between noon and noon thirty.

Horvath claimed;
I would have taken out the reef long ago.

If we were all the same or did things the exact same way, the world would be
a very boring place.

Katy, I'm not sure you have a proper appreciation for the great
traditions and history of sailing through the years.

Ah, but I do, we sailed with only a compass, and then only a compass and
radio for years....If any of the hitorical figures you mentioned had
instruments, they might have been better off, known where they were going,
and foreseen problems.

Jon asked:
-- Why don't you get two wheels and some electric winches.

Because he;s a Luddite with a motorboat that sails....

I don't think I can buy your argument, Katy. A wind instrument gives
essentially no information that an experienced observer can't deduce by eye. On
a trailerable boat, an anemometer is a pain to deal with.
