Harry, your statement, "I show up mainly to watch aberrant

I am willing to make you a deal. I will make no posts on Chuck's

Deal.

Not that you had anything to add, boating-wise, there or here.

That's what I did, braindead...I made one more post "here," in answer

offered your deal, and nothing more than that. Perhaps if your
language skills were better, you would have worded your deal more

Move on, braindead...you're getting nowhere with this one.

Where are your fellow dwarfs...I'm sure they'll take your side and

Bull****.

You've shown what your word is worth, Harry.

Sure, John. As if your worthless offer would be some sort of real
incentive to me, beyond that thread itself. But, hey, you believe
whatever your peabrain tells you. What you think, feel or do here or
elsewhere doesn't matter to me. You're just one of the dwarfs.

BTW, you ever take that new boat of yours out on the Bay? Maybe you can
tow it behind your new camper.

This is comical. John got you in a "gotcha". Give him the victory and

Eisboch

No, he doesn't. I presumed he was referring to the thread at hand. He
offered no incentive that was worth anything to me. Now, if he promised to
propel himself on his motorcycle into a bridge abutment at 90 mph. well
*that* would have been something to consider.

Right now I am going down to the BOAT to change a circuit breaker that I
ordered and arrived yesterday.
Remember BOATS? They float in water and usually provide a great deal of
pleasure and relaxation.

I'm going down to the boatyard later this morning for a short boat
ride with a buddy who is interested in buying a Parker similar to
mine. He was planning to order his with an F225, and I'm trying to
convince him he needs only a 40 mph boat, not a 52 mph boat. My
incentive is that he promised to scrub out the boat afterwards and buy
me lunch.

Your buddy is smart, making you fulfill your part of the bargain first.

It's a lie. It will only happen in his sick imagination.

Who installed the brake controller?
Before you take it to the dealer, it might be a good idea for you to
become
familiar with your braking system and how to test it.

I've already taken it and returned. I determined something was wrong by
following the procedures for setting up the controller.

They replaced the controller and fixed a problem with the brakes on one
side of the trailer. All works well now!

Of course, I spent about $80 in gas getting back and forth!

Glad you got it fixed. Brakes are your friend.

They work well now! I'm glad I noticed the problem before I needed the
brakes for a hard stop.

Must be good Karma!

Jim grows bananas?

Kewl - does he have to cut the tree down after the harvest so it will
regrow bananas?

I read that somewhere.

In the wild they get 1 bunch of bananas from a banana tree and the trunk is
done. Another trunk is already growing. In the commercial groves they get
2 crops a year. All the fertilizer and bug sprays get the trunk to produce
a bunch in 6 months. Unfortunately when the rains come, lots of fish in the
river and the ocean die from the runoff. Learned earlier this year on a
trip to Costa Rica. The bunch may be too high to cut off, so they just
slice the trunk and pull it over to get to the bunch. Need pics of
processing bananas, I can email or post overthere.

You mean a hole in the water surrounded by some sort of restraint like
wood, fiberglass or other material into which one pours money which
never seems to fill the hole up?

Oh yeah - got one of those. :)

I'm waiting on my trailer at the moment - they had to replace one
entire set of spingles and backing plates. Don't know what happened,
but something did all pitted and rusted. I had both assemblys changed
- springs, brackets, backing plates, calipers, rotors, spindles - I
don't think there is one old part in either the suspension or braking
system. :)

Should be good for another eight years.

You hope. Changed an axle last year on trip to Canada. Friday, going to
Moss Landing for a weekend away from the smoke and heat. Get less than 5
miles from home and passing truck honks and points at trailer. Bearing
smoking. Towed is slowly home and parked it. Threw the kayak on the camper
and some extra clothes and food and headed off to June Lake for a long
weekend.

Stayed at Pine Cliff RV Park. Still a nice place. Fished June Lake from
the Kayak Saturday morning, trolling fly and cast master. Nothing. Saw one
fish caught at East end is all. Sunday was going to fish Hot Creek and
Owens Riv. Went to hatchery and wife would not let me fish the brood ponds.
Then off to the geologic area for a nice look and then tried a Hot Creek and
caught nothing and saw nothing. Went to Owens Riv and the salmon egg crowd
was doing well in their area. Went to the Catch and release area as a huge
wind hit. 40-60 mph. Followed by a couple hours of rain. Flash floods
closed 395 at Independence. Tried Rush Creek Monday and scared a couple of
fish and no takes. Elk Hair Caddis and Matuka's. Silver Creek was giving
up fish to salmon eggs, and not to flys. Left to spend Monday night at
Tuolumne Meadows. Get set up and the rains, hail, sleet hit. Finally
abandoned the screen room for the camper as a river ran through the screen
room, and hail built up in the screen. Yesterday morning walked the
Tuolumne river and saw a few small fish, but none on the fly.

I don't have to cut them down. The slightest frost or freeze kills them. I
am experimenting with a variety that is supposed to be freeze tolerant.

Please post as many pictures of bananas that you can over there at Chuck's.
The gods will love it.
