Me right...you wrong!

today, Chuck proved me right.

Ok JohnH. I think you owe me a toonie.
I will accept two of your 'merican bucks... if you send them before
they devalue any further.

Two dollars will buy you a cupa at Mickey D's.

Poor Chuck. He's become his own protest.

If you are a senior at Micky D's, the cost is $0.27 to $0.54

Oh yeah? I didn't know that. Can I borrow your ID? :}

Only have to be 55. Learned that about 3 years ago, when we stopped at a
store wife wanted to shop in, and there was a Mickey D next door. figured
coffee was better than going in a fabric store. That will be $0.27 please.
HUH? Senior coffee.

What's considered a 'senior' stateside?
60 or 65?

62, usually.

55 at Mickey D and at a lot of other eateries.

Yup, $0.25 plus tax here. But, as the coffee tastes like crap, it gets
thrown out and the money was wasted anyway.

Their new stuff, bolder, tastes like stronger crap.

7-11 coffee makes me pee, McD's coffee doesn't.

Some Mickey D are normally Decaf. Have to ask for the regular coffee.
Caffeine is a diuretic.

Let's see, I don't know about...

Horse physiology, blacksmithing, high pressure welding techniques, how
to kill a warfarin resistant Norway Roof Rat in my barn, exactly why a
plane flies, how come my Mrs. Wave didn't leave me any cash this
morning requiring me to go to the bank and finally, why do yellow
highliters always dry out even if you have never removed the cap.

So, how about you? :)

Store your highlighters with the cap down. It increases their

A Canauckistan $1 coin is a Loonie. Has a loon on it. The $2 coin (gold
color) is a toonie.

I do get coffee there once in a while, but I never thought of getting the
discount. I can't eat much of the food there - too many calories and too
salty for my taste, but I have noticed an improvement in their salads.

I haven't had a McD french fry in years. I did like them.

Never was a big McD fry fan. Could always taste them for the rest of the
day. Will get a breakfast burrito when going fishing sometimes. they build
a new McD between me and the boat storage yard.

How did they know you were 55?

Or older?

They probably mistook him for his father!

That was the club over on the 101st base right? Let me think, just
north of Bein Hoa City right over the hill from the long runway? Had
a 105 howitzer fire base attached to it?

We spent a night there after we were released from the air base - good
time if it was the same place.

They had a house band from the Philippines that did cover tunes - damn
they were good.

The Navy EM club at Cam Rahn Bay over by where the Swifts docked was a
great place too. Those Swifties knew how to party I'll tell you what.

Oh - 0h - I feel some war stories coming on.

Better quite while I'm ahead. :)

I'm not a coffee aficionado. I've enjoyed any of the bolder Starbucks
varieties, but I'd never go pay $20 a pound or more for coffee.

I actually quite coffee quite a number of years ago. Unless you
consider a Coffee Coolata or coffee ice cream "coffee".

I bet a lot of your war stories would be interesting.
If Canada had been in that war...I would have been the right age.
I turned 18 in 1967...just before things turned to rat****.

Born in '49? It was a very good crop that year.
