Okay, who stole the good-quality fishing pliers I bought last year?

I was stocking up my fishing bag and my three pair of el cheapo fishing
pliers are right where I left them, but the good Van Staal titanium
needle nose pliers are...GONE!!!

Which one of you bozos was in my garage?

'fess up or I'll UPS a box full of used kitty litter to your house.

You have 24 hours.

For what could you possibly need such high quality fishing pliers?

No need at all. I found them at a bargain price on eBay last year. Even
at the bargain price, they were far more expensive than I needed. But
they are nice.

Oh. They've been found. My lovely bride said they were in a drawer in
her bathroom, and she was right. Now, why didn't it occur to me to look
there?

Heh - I could tell you stories about how my tools sometimes end up in
the bathroom cabinet, bed stand, kitchen drawers...oh yeah - been
there, done that.

I have rusted out cheapo needle-nose and ordinary pliers in my tackle box
and they have never failed me over my past 40 years or so of fishing. One
is not performing brain surgery with the fish when removing a hook and only
an inexperienced fisherman would use expensive mechanics tool to do so.
If I drop either of my pliers in the water I am out $5.99 plus tax...max. I
save my expensive tools for my workshop and working around the cars.

Now even if I did lose an expensive tool I would not post about it here, nor
would I later make a point of finding it in *her* bathroom. Hell, we have 3
full baths and a half bath in our house yet neither my wife nor I call any
*ours*............please pass the Grey Poupon. Then again, I would not
post a picture of my gravel driveway here either.

BTW: I stopped calling my wife "my bride" the day after I married her.
She has been my *wife* since I married her. Am I strange or what?

Have a nice holiday weekend folks. This is one funny thread. Thanks Harry.

They're FISHING tools, tool. Some people like to have decent fishing
gear.

Yes, very.

Kevin,
If someone has more money then they have sense, a $300 pair of needle nose
pliers make sense.

If someone spends 7/24/365 in rec.boats, it makes no sense at all.

not respond to MY usenet handle, ****stain. You're nothing but a low
