Harry,
Please tell us anything you have said about yourself that was true. Make
sure you don't include any of the following:

1. Graduated from Yale - Yale has never heard of you.
2. Wife is a doctor - your wife is a social worker.
3. Owned a Hatteras - you stole a picture of a Hatteras from the web and
posted it as yours.
4. Own a Lobster Boat - You turned down $10,000 to show your boat to anyone
in rec.boats, even JohnH when he was your buddy.

There is a big difference between fabricating stories and actually talking
about yourself. You are a "never was" who thinks he is a "has been". You
spend all your time lashes out at people in rec.boats because you are a
failure in your own mind. If you think you are failure, can you imagine
what everyone else would think if they knew you?

The only thing you have ever posted that is correct is that you own a
Parker. I have posted info concerning my boat many times. Sorry you missed
it.

If you would like more personal info I graduated from Yale, did my post
graduate work at Harvard and Columbia. Worked with Nixon and Reagan and
have enjoy many private breakfasts with all presidents since Nixon. Clinton
called me many times during his presidency. I am most proud of my work with
the civil rights movement during the 60's.

Is there anything else you would like to know about me?

Right. I'm going to take the word of an anonymous asshole who posts here
under 50 different handles and who never discusses anything of
significance about himself.

I'm starting a collection of dipsticks. So far today, you're in it.

Real Name (Smithers)
Jack Goff
John Herring
Jim Hertvik.

Four so far, but the day is still young.

Wow, I made the list. I am impressed.

Strange thing though........all those on the list have uncovered you for
what you really are.

Coincidence?

You indeed are a bitter old man who has to live his life in a friggin NG.

Get help Krause. Then get a real life.

You spend more on repairing your boat in a year than I spend on fishing
gear in five.

If I spend $1000/year on repairs, for how many years can I repair my boat and
spend less than the cost of a new Parker that spends its life on a trailer?

Silly posit, Herring. Your boat spends most of its life on a rack at a
boatel.

If you are claiming you use your boat more than I use my Parker, that
may be true. I have other boats, and a canoe I like to paddle out on the
Shenandoah. Or at least half-interest in a canoe.

Well, I'll admit we've heard some *stories* about other boats!

Also, the way we use our boats is different. You mostly hang around
Herring Bay and drag baits, and I like to get out and see and enjoy new
places, or visit old places I like. Many times, the only fishing rod
aboard is a five footer I keep stashed in the cabin for "emergencies."

Read for content, Harry. I asked a question. I made no claim. The question still
stands. I'd guess an answer in the neighborhood of 60 years.

The word of someone who posts here with about 50 different identities is
worth about the same as a box of used kitty litter.

You hardly ever post anything here other than insults aimed at those you
don't like, so your "word" is not relevant to anything anyway.

Harry, stay away from mirrors!

The list consists of right-wing assholes who add nothing to this
newsgroup but their animosity towards other posters. I have to delete
Herring, though. He is a boater and fisher, and talks about it.

Revised list:

Real Name (Smithers) (boatless ass)
Jack Goff (ass)
JimH (Jim Hertvik) (Dennis Compton) (boatless ass)
Christopher K. Greenhalgh (Netsuck) (anonymous posting ass)
Karen Smith (trashyboat ass)
Bert Robbins (ass, drunk, mental gnat)

Do me no favors, Harry.

No, the key is that you never offer up any information about yourself or
what you do. All you do here is take cheap shots at those you don't
like, or post innocuous "me-too's" of information readily available via
a google search engine search.

You're sort of the newsgroup suck, as it were.

Dan,
That would explain why atl_man and Krause get along so well.

Pretty funny coming from the king of OT postings.

BTW...PIB was very tame this weekend......there was wallside availible on
the public docks Saturday morning, and it never did fill completely. Friday
night was the slowest I have ever seen. The ride down was a bitch......was
in 3-4 footers the entire way........coming back today was a
pleasure.....Erie was 1 footers and once on the river it was a smooth ride.
