Well, you sure didn't need them for those *25 croaker* you caught just outside Herring Bay, hee hee! Since I use only barbless circle hooks, I rarely need them for getting a hook out of a fish. Can you imagine not being able to find a pair of pliers, and making a post in rec.boats.
