John,
Can you imagine not being able to find a pair of pliers, and making a post
in rec.boats. Seems like another excuse to make up a story about what
wonderful toys Harry owns. ; )

What will a $100 pair of pliers do that a $15 pair wont' do?

How can you lose a tool that you use on your boat, how far can it go?

Is it possible this is just another one of those stories you like to tell?

They look real pretty mounted in a frame over the fire place?

If I'd spent almost $100 for a pair of pliers, I'd be too embarrassed to tell
anyone, unless I was a braggart of course.

Why would I take a boat I don't own out?

The key is insecure braggart.

Harry should take a picture of his pliers and Lobster Boat. That would shut
everyone up. ;_)

Harry,
You are incorrect in your assumptions.

Real Name, aka Smithers, doesn't have a boat.

Maybe his lobsta boat is in the same bathroom cabinet as his fishing pliers.

The question was directed to you, Harry.

You spend more on repairing your boat in a year than I spend on fishing
gear in five.

If I spend $1000/year on repairs, for how many years can I repair my boat and
spend less than the cost of a new Parker that spends its life on a trailer?

No, the key is that you never offer up any information about yourself or
what you do. All you do here is take cheap shots at those you don't
like, or post innocuous "me-too's" of information readily available via
a google search engine search.

You're sort of the newsgroup suck, as it were.

Why should anyone offer up information about themselves or what they do, Harry?
Do you desire more targets at which to take your cheap shots?

Of course, they could just post a bunch of bull hockey....

Indeed. You don't own a boat.
