Which one of you bozos was in my garage? 'fess up or I'll UPS a box full of used kitty litter to your house. You have 24 hours. For what could you possibly need such high quality fishing pliers? No need at all. I found them at a bargain price on eBay last year. Even at the bargain price, they were far more expensive than I needed. But they are nice. Oh. They've been found. My lovely bride said they were in a drawer in her bathroom, and she was right. Now, why didn't it occur to me to look there? Well, you sure didn't need them for those *25 croaker* you caught just outside Herring Bay, hee hee! -- John H "All decisions are the result of binary thinking." $200+ (retail) stinky pliers used to remove fish hooks found in his *brides* private bathroom drawer. Indeed. (Holding back my laughter) What's the matter, ****stain? Haven't you ever known anyone who uses QUALITY fishing gear? |

Kevin,
If you keep a light coat of oil on your tools, they won't rust. No, I have never lost a tool on my boat, because they go from my hand to my tool box. Do you leave you tools all over your boat? wrote in message ups.com... Real Name wrote: I have to ask: What will a $100 pair of pliers do that a $15 pair wont' do? It's what they won't do. Kevin,
If someone has more money then they have sense, a $300 pair of needle nose pliers make sense. If someone spends 7/24/365 in rec.boats, it makes no sense at all. wrote in message oups.com... *JimH* wrote: I have rusted out cheapo needle-nose and ordinary pliers in my tackle box and they have never failed me over my past 40 years or so of fishing. Do you leave you tools all over your boat? Well, aren't you a special piece of ****?? And yes, I occasionally DO lose something off of my boat. I'll bet almost everybody here has, except you, because you're such a special, special person. Notice I intentionally didn't call you a man? |
