2. To form a correct estimate or conjecture of: guessed the answer.

No, I said he "guessed" some of his customers did that. I did not say he
"assumed." There can be a world of difference between a guess and an
assumption.

Again, you have shown your language skills are not up to par.

Further, if the merchandise isn't stolen, it isn't stolen. In pawn-shop
parlance, if it isn't on the tip sheet, it isn't stolen.
