Surely you are at LEAST smart enough to understand that most states
are VERY similar in licensing requirements, as well as rules and regulations governing those requirements. Too bad *your* not smart enough to understand the meaning of "exempt" |

![]() "Joe" wrote in message ... AWESOME! Now, what would you like to wager? Let's make it something FUN. I'll supply you with my CORRECT name, and PE registration number for GA. I'll also give you the reg. number for AL, TN. THEN, when supplied this information, you will openly tell people that you were wrong, your ass overtook your mouth, and you didn't know what to hell you were talking about. Also, you'll need to state that you are, in fact, NOT an engineer. You are a technician. Deal? Your pathetic, that's all I need to know about you. I guess that would mean that no, you DON'T want to wager, correct? You're right for once. I don't wager with liars, fools, nor mentally unstable persons. In your case, you've hit the trifecta. As a casual bystander, it would seem that a bluff has been called. In my mind, it's "Joe the Technician" from this day forward. Mark Browne |

Read the Calif link. Communication's is exempted completely. And the only titles prohibited are "consulting, registered, consulting Engineer" Nowhere does it say it is prohibited to say Electronic Engineer, Communication's Engineer, Train Engineer, software engineer. |

Oh, no, you are completely WRONG!!! The PERSONAL titles are "consulting, registered, etc. You can NOT have ANYWHERE in your company name, business license, etc., etc., the word engineer. Did you happen to check the OTHER links? Now, JoeBlow specifically said that he was "an engineer" in Georgia and Florida. In Georgia, you must be a licensed professional engineer in order to call yourself one. Correct? You have the link, look into it. |

Liar, yes you are. You've stated that you were an "engineer in Georgia". NOT Fool, yes you are. You thought someone would actually take your word for it! Mentally unstable? You BET you are. When your wrong, instead of being a man and admitting it, you simply start name calling, etc. |

![]() snip As a casual bystander, it would seem that a bluff has been called. In my mind, it's "Joe the Technician" from this day forward. Mark Browne I guess you are getting as stupid as Asslicker. Read the Calif link. Communication's is exempted completely. And the only titles prohibited are "consulting, registered, consulting Engineer" Nowhere does it say it is prohibited to say Electronic Engineer, Communication's Engineer, Train Engineer, software engineer. All of that is true. Being an electronic engineer myself I understand that it is a common practice. And yes, he could put on a funny hat and call himself king. That does not change the fact that he can't legally call himself a doctor or professional engineer without being one. And it seems clear that he is not. I don't protest the other training and certificates he listed. I have Delco auto training certs and I know how much (or how little) they are worth. Joe was trying to establish instant credibility by using the title "engineer" as a basis for being a reliable authority. A signature on an opinion written by a professional engineer does carry a certain legal authority. A signature from any of the "engineers" listed above carries only as much authority as the purchaser of his services is willing to invest in it. In this case, "Joe the Technician" is just another guy. Mark Browne |

I said I was licensed in Fl with (reciprocity in GA) as a Limited Energy Specialist. I specifically stated that I was a "Telecommunications Infrastructure Engineer". Tell me Kevin, are the non-P.E. Engineers at NASA allowed to call themselves engineers? PS. All engines burn oil. |
