Good. That would be the point. Thousands of protesters jailed. A
never-ending demonstration. Just like the good old days.

Typical Krause, no respect for your private property. However, if you
step foot on his private property be ready to answer a gun shot.

Harry lives to be a ****ing asshole... He has it down pat...

Nope, they are public streets.

Not inside a gated community.
As soon as you put up a gate, you own the street. In this case they
were NEVER government owned streets. The developer built the street,
the HOA owns the street and is responsible for maintenance. The cops
come in as visitors unless they are in hot pursuit, the same as it
would be on your patio.,
In our county they actually have a different bunch of deputies to
handle gated communities (a great gig by the way)

We went through this when some people here wanted our HOA to put up
gates. We would have been required to get the county to vacate the
roads and cede them over to us. then we would get no more county
maintenance. That was the show stopper.
Most gated communities are built from scratch and they never give the
roads to the county. (the county will not take them, even if you want,
when they are behind gates)

I am amazed at how little you people know about HOAs and gated
communities, yet you seem to have plenty of opinions.

This guy just refuses to look at any info before he makes up his next
troll... Amazing, he hasn't changed a bit.

I lived in a HOA in the eighties.. Just couldn't live that way, but it
was good as it convinced us to buy a house:)

The only story we have is that Martin approached Zimmerman.
Unless there is a witness we have not seen yet, that will be the only
story we have. Everything else is speculation.

Not true at all. Zimmerman STATED that he "followed Martin".

He also said he had lost sight of Martin

I keep hearing that Martin did not need to explain **** but that is
not really true.
If you don't live in a gated community you do not understand. These
people pay thousands of dollars a year to live behind gates so they
will not have strangers walking around.
Every resident is part owner of that street, that sidewalk and the
grass in between. They have the same right to ask a stranger what they
are doing there as you would have to ask someone why they were walking
across your patio.

And the stranger has no right to just walk away?

Not really ... in Florida. On your property, you can pretty much shoot
them and that is particularly true if they punch you in the nose and
knock you down
Harry would shoot you for that and he lives in a "retreat state"

So if a man like Zimmerman approaches me at night in Florida while I'm
walking home I can't under law walk away?

You can certainly walk away but you can't punch them in the nose for
asking "what are you doing here" on private property.

And there you have it... it's not against the law to ask someone a question. It IS against the law to commit assault & battery.

"Going to my Dad's house." was the proper response. A little less attitude would have saved his life.

Oh, so a person in Florida is automatically supposed to just do nothing
when someone attempts to assault him? Then just what IS this stand your
ground law for?

Sad but true. Unfortunately we have raised a couple generations of
kids who are all about "attitude", particularly in the black
community.
If Zimmerman had been a North Miami thug like Martin wanted to be,
there would have been more respect shown.

Bull****. So, in the dark of night, a stranger comes up to you or
someone who is able to defend themselves, doesn't identify himself, so
you don't know what he intends, you are just going to offer him up any
information he wants?

Don't follow.

You have to take words at what they are, not what they might be.

If they tell you that you don't "need" to eat all your peas, it
doesn't mean you can't.

Willful ignorance. The point was crystal clear.

Yes it was crystal clear that the government was not going to protect
Zimmerman's safety when Martin attacked him

How do you know Martin attacked Zimmerman? Oh, forgot, you blindly
choose to believe Zimmerman.

There is nobody else who knows what actually happened. Until I
actually hear another credible witness who actually saw what happened,
I am left with Zimmerman's story.
The first eye witness so far did not even look until the guy with the
white shirt had the guy in the red shirt on the ground.
The woman who said the guy in red was on top did not look until after
the gun shot.

How about the girlfriend? How about the lady who heard the ruckus and
claims it was all about Zimmerman? Oh, they don't count, because like
you said earlier, those blacks have an attitude.

Oh the old "I never saw that in my life, I don't know how it got in my
backpack" defense.

Again, how would something that the kid did in school in Miami have any
bearing on what Zimmerman did?

It will go the character of Martin when the judge has to decide
whether Zimmerman's story about being attacked is adjudicated in the
immunity hearing (before this ever gets to trial)

It certainly does seem to verify what Zimmerman "profiled" Martin to
be.
He was a druggie, thief according to what they found in his school bag

If Corey does get any traction with her "profiling" charge (the only
real meat in her affidavit) it will be a pyrrhic victory since
profiling is an important police tool and she might see that show up
in criminal defenses for he rest of her career.
She did not say "racial" profiling, just profiling

So, we can also profile Zimmerman as the short fused, argumentative,
easily enraged person he was, right?

We could if he had shot anyone on the other 47 police calls or even
brandished his gun.

But we can't because of his other history?
