Pretty much. Have you seen the signs? They were photographed and put out on CNN All the signs said was that it was a neighborhood that had a neighborhood watch program. It didn't say that you couldn't be walking on the sidewalk. They also said trespassers would be arrested and prosecuted He was on a public sidewalk and staying there with relatives. He was on private property, and approached by neighborhood watch, which was also clearly posted... Stop lying, really, you should at least read one complete article about the actual facts.. Just one would save everyone a lot of headache. How in **** could he be trespassing if he was INVITED there, dip****? Those damned facts just don't go well with your FOX bull****. What "facts" are there? Okay, Martin was NOT trespassing. Martin was NOT breaking any laws. Zimmerman approached him for no reason. Zimmerman killed him. |

There was something different here and it was the actions of Martin Yeah, you're right. The guy was scared, he according to the phone conversation with his girlfriend, tried to walk away fast. Now please, you keep defending Zimmerman, so let's see this evidence you have that "the actions of Martin" led to his death. If you trust the girl friend, Martin never made a civil gesture to explain who he was and why he was there. After all, this is private property, behind gates and fences and Martin was a stranger. The fight appears to have started immediately after Zimmerman asked "what are you doing here"? (again according to Martin's girlfriend.) Presumably the question was answered with a punch in the nose. I keep hearing that Martin did not need to explain **** but that is not really true. If you don't live in a gated community you do not understand. These people pay thousands of dollars a year to live behind gates so they will not have strangers walking around. Every resident is part owner of that street, that sidewalk and the grass in between. They have the same right to ask a stranger what they are doing there as you would have to ask someone why they were walking across your patio. I wouldn't have said a word to Zimmerman. I would have just kept on walking to the house where a blood relative lived. If Martin had done that it would just be another gone on arrival call for the cops. Instead he chose to confront Zimmerman. Gee, the FOXites seem to think that the lefties are making judgement calls, but the above is just hearsay. You don't know the facts. If the property is that private, I wonder who is called when police or firemen are needed. They pay their taxes., They call the cops and fire department just like you would for your private property that you have said you would kill over. Was the property properly posted with a sign that said, "Unless you live here, keep out or our Doberman Zimmerman will chase after you with a loaded firearm." Pretty much. Have you seen the signs? They were photographed and put out on CNN All the signs said was that it was a neighborhood that had a neighborhood watch program. It didn't say that you couldn't be walking on the sidewalk. Anybody with nothing to hide, and/or a brain, would identify themselves if they were strangers walking in a clearly posted private property and questioned by someone representing the clearly posted neighborhood watch.. I wouldn't unless he identified HIMSELF. Anybody with nothing to hide, and/or a brain... |

Martin was on private property clearly marked as monitored. Anybody with a brain in that situation would assume he did... Why would anyone assume he did? Zimmerman could have been nothing more than a thug wanting to rob Martin. If someone walks up to you in the middle of the night, no one else around, and starts asking ****, you are going to "assume" that he has authority and isn't just trying to rob you or something worse? THAT is stupid. |

Well, the thing is this: In general, trespass laws apply to someone infringing on private property to which he or she has not been invited. Martin was indeed invited there. "Well then"??? How about saying, "sorry I lied about him not being private property, I will go read the police report before making an ass of myself again here"...???????? You are ****ing insane! What you have just typed has NOTHING to do with the way trespassing laws work. |

Most gated communities are built from scratch and they never give the roads to the county. (the county will not take them, even if you want, when they are behind gates) I am amazed at how little you people know about HOAs and gated communities, yet you seem to have plenty of opinions. This guy just refuses to look at any info before he makes up his next troll... Amazing, he hasn't changed a bit. I lived in a HOA in the eighties.. Just couldn't live that way, but it was good as it convinced us to buy a house:) Psssst, I'm on my HOA's board....... |
