My truck was an appliance deliver truck in it's (long ago) youth. *So it's
got attachment points everywhere, and a rack behind the cab.

I toss my boats in the back, grab the bungees with the 'biners and hook 'em
up and go...

Bungees??!! I hope you have some super-reinforced mondo-bulletproof
bungees!! I can't begin to count the number of bungees I've found
along roadways. Those things are notoriously unreliable. How many
boats have you bounced off the pavement? I can honestly say I've never
lost a boat tied with my ropes!
