I too have an interest in boat building. And I happen to enjoy following and
occasionally contributing to several NG's on a wide range of topics.

I've never had virus
software running and I've never had a problem.
Then you guess it will never happen to you. This is EXACTLY how viruses
spread.

I'm sorry if I caught you on a bad day there Ed. If you go back and read my
original reply, you'll see I was only offering my help and I certainly did
nothing to prompt such a response from you.

It sounds like you have not considered the most common method of
distribution- The virus usually emails itself to all in the infected
address
book.

Where you should place blame is on the individual for not using a
current
antivirus to protect their PC. Many folks fail to keep their virus
definitions updated thereby giving viruses a chance to spread.
