Dave the lawyer is an example of the typical uninformed asa dolt. He's
been suckered in by the hoax posts that tell everybody to vote AGAINST H.R. 2550. Jeff, our other resident "genius" also seems to have drunk the Kool-Aid. For your information, dear reader, you've been duped by totally bogus information. You've been told to have your congressman vote AGAINST the House Rule. Here's the real scoop from: http://www.boatus.com/gov/ "EPA Discharge Permit Requirement for Recreational Boats "For 34 years the federal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has exempted discharges from recreational boats from the Clean Water Act permit system. Regretfully, a recent court ruling cancelled this permit exemption. EPA is required by the court decision to develop and implement by September 30, 2008 a national permit system for ALL vessels in the United States for a variety of normal operational discharges. "We have been working behind the scenes with other boating organizations to get the exemption reinstated for recreational boats. Fortunately, the Recreational Boating Act of 2007 (H.R. 2550) has been introduced by Representatives Gene Taylor (D-Miss) and Candice Miller (R-Mich) which would protect recreational boats from being swept into this unnecessary and expensive permitting system. "It is critically important that H.R. 2550 be passed and your support is essential. Please contact your Congressman and Senators TODAY and ask that they co-sponsor or support H.R. 2550." I hope this helps and I hope it shows the folly of expecting armchair lawyers like our Daffy Dave the Duffer to know their arses from a hole in the ground. Wilbur Hubbard |

Having a little trouble with the Alzheimer's, Neal? Then I'll remind you that no one here has the foggiest idea what you're talking about because the discussion to which you refer took place in another group. Yes, and if you had checked the headers you would have noted it was cross-posted to that other group. Doh! And it looks like you may, finally, have comprehended what Roger Long told you in that other forum on September 12 was correct, and that your rant was off the wall. I certainly pointed out your difficulties with comprehension of Roger's post enough times. Wrong again, Barrister Boy! Anybody can research the thread and see how you and others were just taking the dire, bogus warnings as fact. And, it turned out the OP was totally wrong in asserting that everybody needed to contact their Congressman or Senator to tell them to vote AGAINST H.R. 225. My rant that leaving it under Federal control was the way to go because that keeps 50 states from writing 50 different forms of legislation. The only reason this whole thing is coming up is because some stupid liberal judge (and former lawyer) legislated from the bench and negated existing federal law. Now, with the passage of H.R. 225, recreational boats will again be exempt from these onerous regulations. I hope this helps. You should be ashamed, since you claim to be a lawyer, that you were sucked in by a hoax that YOU could have and should have dispelled instead of contributing to the false information. What good are you, anyway? But, I suppose you've heard that question many times from clients you represented who lost their case. Have a nice day. Wilbur Hubbard |

You can always **** over the side legally from a waste standpoint but they can probably get you for indecent exposure. The interesting thing about existing sewage discharge laws the many people don't understand is the very definition of discharge involves dumping sewage from a container overboard. If you don't ever use a container and just **** or **** directly overboard it's totally legal. If you really want to make the authorities mad when they come aboard to check your head/holding tanks for legality excuse yourself saying you need to take a ****, jump overboard drop your swim trunks and **** directly in the water; use a sponge you grabbed on the way out to clean your ass. There's NOTHING illegal about doing this, especially if you caution any female law officers to turn their head if they are offended by a naked male ass. Hint: always face any current. Yeah, but what about that lady on the big trawler screaming obscenities at me over on F-dock? Do I have to notify her, too? Maybe I should put out a sitrep on Channel 13, just to be safe...(c; (Notice this simple emoticon of a smiley face, indicating this is a sarcastic remark to your stupid reply.) So that's what that means. I thought you had some type of scientific notation amid your comments, but were just printing the (c: notes because the (a: (b: and (d: stuff was top secret. ![]() took a moment out of his busy day at the dock where's he been living for the past two years calling himself a cruising sailor and two-finger typed out this pathetic message ... Willie-boy, We all know that. Heck, Peggie told us, what, two three years ago? Maybe longer... Now here you are plagiarizing Peggy after all the bad things you've said about her. Willie-boy you really are a piece of work. You mean Peggie? Peggie Hill? That nappy-headed hoe! She's a waste of space. She plagiarized ME. She stole a bunch of my stuff. Just like she stole all her poor deceased husband's stuff and now calls it her own. I've been around a LOT longer than Peggie and her human waste, dog and pony show. Believe it. There was a time many years ago when we were on good terms but then she tried to court me but I rejected her advances and serious asperations in no uncertain words. I found her less than attractive - old, dry, dull-witted, no sense of humor, full of herself and hypocritical. And her physical appearance was, well, to be truthful, she's sort of a two-bagger. You know, one bag to put over her face and one for me in case her's should happen to come adrift. Ever since she came to realize I was not interested, she's been the very essense of a woman scorned. It's probably a good thing she's now got her entire life wrapped up in sewage. Gives the poor, unwanted, rejected woman something constructive on which to vent her agression. I suppose I should give her a break, though. Women just hate it when you love 'em and leave 'em, don't cha know and she's no exception. I got another one like that over in alt.sailing.asa by the name of Katysails. I just wonder what makes them so vindictive. Why can't women just get over me and move on with their lives?
