Finally, some truth. Bouncers: Large overwieght somewhat stupid brutes, it takes three or four to toss a drunk and perhaps beat senseless on the way out. Not much to brag about there, in fact I'd be ashamed. A good bouncer is not looking to hit anyone or get hit by anyone. We were paid to stop trouble, usually by quickly removing a troublemaker and NOT hurting him. If a situation got bad, then we overpowered it with more coolers. Simple as that. I had very few "fights" working on the job. You're not paid to fight, hit or hurt people. When forced to fight I did what was needed to end it fast and do a minimum of damage to the other guy. Most of the time I was very good at it. The times I messed up and hurt someone; those are something to learn from so it doesn't happen again. Hey, look at that! Yet another topic Marty knows nothing about. But his comments about bouncers proves he's been mistreated by more than one. Ouch! I've got you pegged pretty well eh? You must have been a great disappointment to your mother. Cheers Marty |
