I'll take a look. Oh, and in case you missed it... Bush *did* lie. He
admitted it. g

I wasn't aware of that. Could you kindly provide a website detailing his
admission?

Max

He lied and admitted in with respect to Rumsfeld's resignation.

How is Rumsfeld's resignation an admission of lying? That sounds like an
opinion, not a statement of fact.

Unresponsive to the question. Repeating the same assertion does not
prove
its truth.

Dave's having reading problems. Do you want me to put the following in
all
caps?

Putting it in all caps doesn't prove its truth either. Please answer the
question Max asked.

The question was "Could you kindly provide a website detailing his
admission?"

Are you and he really incapable of a simple google search? Ok, that was a
dumb question.

Have at it...

I read nothing in that article that indicated Bush admitted to lying about
anything. Care to quote the exact reference you have in mind?

You decide. I guess in your parlance, not telling the truth when asked a
direct question isn't a lie.
Q Thank you, Mr. President. Last week you told us that Secretary Rumsfeld
will be staying on. Why is the timing right now for this, and how much does
it have to do with the election results?

THE PRESIDENT: Right. No, you and Hunt and Keil came in the Oval Office, and
Hunt asked me the question one week before the campaign, and basically it
was, are you going to do something about Rumsfeld and the Vice President?
And my answer was, they're going to stay on. And the reason why is I didn't
want to inject a major decision about this war in the final days of a
campaign. And so the only way to answer that question and to get you on to
another question was to give you that answer.

I guess that could be construed as a lie. And it certainly is much worse
than lying to a federal grand jury about having sex with an intern. NOT.

Well, let's put it this way... Clinton lied about a blow job. How many people
died as a result. Bush lied about the reasons for war. How many people died.

So you're saying it's all right to lie in some situations?

I admitted he may have lied about Rumsfeld's resignation, but so far I've
seen no evidence--only left-wing diatribe--that he lied about anything w/r/t
Iraq. You showed me the evidence I asked for about Rumsfeld--now show me
the evidence about his lies w/r/t the Iraq situation. If you can, I'll
accept it for what it is.

Only if you're a Democrat.

I see you're adopting Jon's standard technique, Max--justifying "bad"
behavior by pointing to other bad behavior.

Damn. I was hoping no one would notice.
