If we really want to make this the longest thread in recent memory

we should start talking about guns.

that should do it.

Could one turn ones mast into a very long tube mortar?

and fire straight up?

How about making the boom into a air powered potato canon?

Sounds feasible.

Would that vang be mounted less than 25% distance from the mast?
Mooron won't understand it, if it is.

Must have missed that part... should we start over?

What's the best combination grenade launcher/assault rifle to have

on
board?

M-203 if you're going to be cruising NATO countries, it's easier to
resupply.

Yes but you have to remember to take off all the tension on the back

&
babystays... prebend would be a real bitch...

I like it... especially if you have a digitally controlled indexing
pneumatic solid vang... easier to aim that the long tube mortar
concealed in the mast...

You know... if you keep posting to this thread it's gonna drive

Neal
around
the bend ... since it seems it may take the award for the longest
thread on
ASA history!!

"What sheems to be the trouble ofisher?'' Donal slured.

"Did you know," says the cop, standing straight and folding his
arms
across his chest, "that a few intersections back, your wife

fell

of your car?"

"Oh, thank heavens," sighs Donal.
"For a minute there, I thought I'd gone deaf."

Wimpy Canooks!

Look I've already tested the gas balloon and flare gun method.... it's way
more devastating than a couple of rounds of bullets. The whole raft went up
in flames in seconds. I'm working on a single hand launcher... I tried one
made with one of those scoops that tosses a ball... but the little gear
threads kept ripping the balloons!

Capt. Mooron March 17th 05 10:24 PM

Oh I'd understand it would be fine for light rounds.... but the heavy
payloads would require end of boom stabilization to prevent excessive barrel
whip!

A motor sailing vessel using compessed exhaust powered automatic
potatoe firing devices far out preform standard sailing vessel potatoe
launchers by far IMHO.

May be but who in their right mind would trade a real sailboat for a
'motorboat sailing vessel'?

No, not yet.

I'm glad that she bears no resemblance to a sheep.
