I really didn't think it was necessary to explain that. You probably ought to consider that note in context with a number of other notes in which I emphasized that I wasn't going to go out in heavy weather, but intended to be prepared for whatever came, and that I was going to return to port early if weather conditions changed. In other words, the 70-knot wind note was obviously a joke, and if you weren't trying to put me down, you would have acknowledged that it was a joke yourself. - But, of course, you are tryng to put me down, so you won't.
