Katy,
You still have your Butterfly? Do you get to sail it much. Stop by on your way to FL and we can race them. Pony asked: Katy,

I'll be selling it before we move, since I really don't want to be shark bait...will probably get something like a JY15 to gunkhole with when we move there...I flip way too much to be comfortable sailing around carnivorous fish in a scow! -- katysails s/v Chanteuse Kirie Elite 32 http://katysails.tripod.com "Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea." - Robert A. JY15 to gunkhole with when we move there...I flip way too
much to be comfortable sailing around carnivorous fish in a scow! Oh yeah, bull sharks eat people here at least one every 15 minutes. Definitely can't use a 12 foot boat. You have to have a 15 foot racing boat to be safe from the sharks. (Sumpin tells me dis ol lady don't get out on da water much.) |

Wrong. There is a difference sailing a scow than sailing a JY 15....I prefer to have my butt up out tof the water, thank you, and also to have a more reliable boat that doesn't flip...and Florida does not publish the actual amount of shark attacks due to scaring off the tourists....I have stepped on a shark...I didn't know I could run that fast... -- katysails s/v Chanteuse Kirie Elite 32 http://katysails.tripod.com "Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea." - Robert A. Florida does not publish the
actual amount of shark attacks due to scaring off the tourists....I have stepped on a shark...I didn't know I could run that fast... First off, Florida doesn't have to--the news does it for them. Secondly, unprovoked shark attacks are very rare throughout the entire US, so they're even more rare in FL. Finally, all I'm saying is that you have a whole lot better chance of drowning than being bit by a shark. Actually a significant number of the world wide reported shark attacks are in
Florida. Almost all of the US attacks are in FL. http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases...0128075321.htm Its still more common to drown, or die from a bee sting. "Veridican" wrote in message ...
