Jon... I would have approached this reply in a different manner. Direct
insults often fall short of target or can be parried since they are telegraphed by posting style. Feign and redirection are often a better tactic. In reply to the turkey comment for instance... you immediately referred to Bob. This displayed a lack of subtlety. You could have inquired if as the Carver... the selection of the tenderest Butterball could be left to you. Think of the fowl jabs that could have generated. Most people are under the impression that turkeys are so dumb as to drown themselves looking up at a thunder storm with their beaks open. Turkeys gobble and strut! Stuffing recipes alone could have generated replies..... Remember to think well ahead..... I again wish to thank Bob for his patience in this matter.
