Excuse Me Bob but....

Certainly not in California. The only requirement is
that the skipper be sober... 0.08 just like a car.

Why do you have some other f*cked up rule in NY?

Why not? There are no laws that say your crew must be sober.

Are you sure?

You're correct. I was too lazy and we were sailing fine. BTW, there was a
nice
IP 35 out there singlehanding and carrying full sails and while we were
faster,

Well I should hope so. You were doing 11 right?

Pictures have been posted for months Booby. There's even a video (I
could post one with more waves and wind but I wouldn't want to scare
you). Not one real criticism so far (well except DSK who couldn't
actually say what was wrong. Hahahahahahhahahaha)
No, I rarely trim badly and I sure as hell am not so lazy that I would
sail with negligent sail trim.

Do you still love Nature -despite what it has given to you?

I think you missed the point. What do you do when your boat needs trim
adjustments?

No, Loco. Boats with 25 foot LWL can't possibly do better than 7 knots or so.
Hull Speed rule says so, right!?
You raced regular on a tricked out J30 and only saw 10 knots "once."

Bwahahahahaha!

Thanks Scotty. You know he can't take advice from people here on sail trim!

Do you make everyone wear a life jacket while underway?

Yes .... while underway, when they are "on deck" [not in the cockpit] every
adult must wear a PFD. Children must always wear a PFD if they are not
within the cabin. I always wear a PFD even in the cockpit because I believe
in leading by example.

Yes.... plus it's amazing the effect it has on the local water cops....
they see everyone wearing PFDs and just wave as they go on by.... leaving my
booze cruisers alone. Appearance Horvath... it's important.

I imagine when they see you moor up stern too they must shake their heads in
awe.
