Excuse Me Bob but....

The only thing you can possibly show me is the high failure rate
and increased danger involved with unnecessary systems.

On second thought, there are TWO things you can show me -
the above and how to live 24/7 while legally drunk.

Of fer cryin' out loud.... I never heard such a line of whining from
someone that purports to be a sailor in my life. I have oversized blocks and
very fair runs... my 12 year old nephew can hoist the main without a winch
required until the last 2 feet of hoist. If you're stupid and clumsy enough
to trip you deserve to fall. Expense is irrelevant when it comes to lines I
don't scrimp on quality. My boat no only has a bridge and a helm I also
have several other locations ..10 Forward, The Libido Deck, 4 Battle
Stations and a "brig".

The only idiot is the person so inexperienced in a variety of sailing
vessels and configurations as to tout "his" system as absolute for use in
any vessel. Stand Down and Stand By One... If I get down there this winter
I'll show you how things work on a proper vessel.

| It's clearly the incorrect method of sail handling.
|
| 1) longer lines mean more friction,
| 2) turning blocks mean more friction,
| more friction means sails don't come down easily,
| 3) extra length of line means increased
| chances of a snag or a jam,
| 4) longer lines means more expense,
| 5) longer lines mean increased tripping hazard,
| 6) roll-up jenny means at least two extra lines
| to snag and jam and trip on,
| 7) leaving the tiller is no problem if the skipper
| knows what he's doing,
| 8) sailboats don't have a bridge - they have a helm,
| 9) you have to go to the mast anyway to secure and
| cover the mainsail so that shoots the hell out of
| your 'unsafe' argument.
| 10) Roll-ups don't roll up too well when they are
| flapping in the wind as is the case when one
| picks up a mooring.
|
| Idiots and fools including you Moroon. I can understand
| ineptitude from the likes of Katy but you should know
| better. Shame on you. What a lubberly outfit!

| It's not only idiotic to work at the mast ... it removes you from the

| Pick up and secure one mooring painter...... walk to the cockpit and
drop

way

the

Good job avoiding the sailing content of which you are

to resort to a lame, personal attack which simply proves
my point that your methods are that of a woman.

Cheech has been sailing for longer than you and on better boats. My friend owns

big J-boat now.

What sailing content... your feeble but truthful complaint about simplicity
being key in sailing that took a half of one sentence in a paragraph??? or
the dishwasher, can opener lament you went on about.

Look.. I picked up right where my name was mentioned.... I'm not about to

Excuse Me Bob but....

Fine if you don't smoke... I respect that... but you stated that you
wouldn't boast about using pot. I didn't boast.. I made a statement.

No Cappy... teenage girls don't attract my attention at all. I view them as
children until they are at least 18. The legal age in Canada is 16. What
would you find appealing about an inexperienced, clumsy young thing is
beyond me. What attracts me is a woman who is self assured and confident,
assertive and comfortable with her sexuality. You don't find those traits
until they have time to mature a bit. Leave the sixteen year olds to
explore their sexuality with their own age group. They can't go dancing at
the club, they can't get into the seaside bar, they can't carry on an
interesting discussion, they can't pay their own way... really... all they
have to offer is their innocence. Big Deal.... I've seen 30 year olds with
way more to offer in body and spirit. I consider a 20 year old as robbing
the cradle....

| Smoking marijuana causes cancer just like cigarette smoking.
|
| It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that smoking
| anything is not good for the lungs and body. I've got nothing against
| eating some brownies laced with tetrahydrocannabinoids but I
| will never again smoke anything legal - or illegal.
|
| That's the difference between me and people like you. I
| have the ability to live and learn while you and your ilk

|
| One other thing, any man who says they are not attracted to
| girls old enough to menstruate are damned liars. If these

| to be sexually attracted to them. One need only pay attention

|
| The USA and Canada are ridiculous when it comes to setting

Excuse Me Bob but....

I guess you are the type of person who uses an electric can opener
instead of a hand operated model which is superior in every way.
You probably use a dishwashing machine instead of doing them by
hand and you probably cannot have an orgasm without a vibrator.

Where do you get this crap? First of all, I very rarely open cans and when I do I use a manual because the electric ones shave
steel shavings into the food. Secondly, I had 5 kids. Why the heck would I need or want a dishwasher? When they left there
was the two of us. It would take 3-4 days to make a dishwaher worthwhile...You just make this stuff up so you can blather
away....Like I've said before, your rendition of me and the reality of me have nothing in common except for the fact that we are
both female.
