We used to pull our 14' G3 open boat behind the MH but don't think we
qualify for one of those Long Load signs and pulling it behind the
trailer. LOL

Has anyone heard of a carrier that could be used in the back of the
pickup with the 8' foot bed?

Firstly with trailer and truck loaded how much room do you have left in
towing and payload capacity ?
how about lengthening truck chassis or trailer chassis to create a boat
cradle ?

Plenty to accommodate a 195 lb. boat!

Thanks all for your suggestions but someone over in rec.outdoors.rv
travel found the link I've been looking for---the Eide Boat Loader.
Check this out! Guess it shows you don't have to settle for second
best if you just keep looking for what you really want and need. LOL

Get the Wheel-A-way wheels instead of the Eide wheels. Much nicer release
attachment.
