Default Need advice on engine coupler

Thanks for the input folks,

I did replace the coupler. I rented an engine hoist and lifted the
engine about a foot and swung it sideways and replaced the coupler.
About a 2 day job in all done in my driveway. Could probably do it
again in a day in the right conditions, but it was a bitch of a job to
do in 100 degree heat.
What happened is that the engine lost alignment due to a jacking screw
backing off. I'll be sure to never let THAT happen again.

You will need to pull the engine to replace the coupler but that is not a
major task if you have access to an overhead hoist.

I'm pretty sure the engine coupler is spun. Does the engine have to
come out to replace this? or can I do it in place?
