of 7 subscribers to that group.
Another 35 or so and I'll probably eclipse rec boats. :-)

Interestingly enough, Google Groups reports 479 "subscribers" to
rec.boats. Lots of lurkers I guess.

Well, I guess you could call me a lurker--I did, in the past, post some.
However, unlike
some of the current regular "participants", such as those who can survey
boats by
looking at a picture, and the prolific "OT" posters, I didn't really have
any new information
to add so kept my mouth shut. Looking at it that way, we would all be
better off
with a few more of the regular posters reverting to lurking.

By lurking occasionally I can keep up on some of the interesting posts, such
as the one starting this thread, "Extreme Makeover".
