So, did you consider that trawler berthed at the junkyard by its owner
you said only needed a bit of cosmetic work? You once stated you were
considering buying her. She certainly was a much better boat than
Indulgence.

According to a guy who has never seen my boat, or the other boat he
refers to.
But then again, knowing the first thing about whatever sewage you are
loading into your poison pen has never been a prerequisite for posting
about sal****er adventures in a little Kansas-based runabout, has it,
Dave?

Shall we post pix of both boats and let the group voice their opinions?
Why are you stiff arming the comparison of those two boats? You know it
was a legit question.

Post away. I'll leave it up to you to provide the pictures, as you
claim to be able to do so and I frankly have no idea about what boat
you might be referring to as "parked in a junk yard".

I'm sure that the opinions from people who are prepared to judge a boat
based on nothing more than a photo will be interesting indeed. But at
least you will be discussing boats for a change- even if it's your
intention to do so in a disparaging fashion.

It's obvious Snippy is insanely jealous of you, your lifestyle, your
locale, your profession and your boat. What's your guess as to Snipper's
age? I'm guessing about 70.

I'd say either 80, with Alsheimers, or 10 with mommy's computer.....!

Is that a new disease?

Maybe he borrowed Kevin Noble's computer.

The last thing I would do is support Dave, but you have to try harder
when you post.

Faulty memory again, eh? So you had a lot of single engined trawlers
built by retired Alaska fishermen berthed at Adventure that were later
taken to the owners junk yard while still listed? Hard to keep track of
all those I'd bet. Do you remember telling the owner that he'd have a
harder time selling if he took the boat back to his junk yard?

You have to remember that your visit up here was one of the highlights
of your life, not mine. Yes, I do remember a boat that left the
brokerage dock to go down to a commercial dock in Tacoma. The owner of
the boat ran a huge scrap metal business, (not a "junkyard") and the
boat was moored at his own private commercial dock, not "parked in a
junkyard". And yeah, it is certainly a lot tougher to sell a yacht in
an "industrial" environment. After all these years, however, I'm not
sure I clearly remember the details of the boat. Where are the pics you
promised? Down thread maybe? I'll keep looking.

Chuck...........ignore him. You do not have to prove anything here. It is
Skippy who lacks the credibility and trust.

If everyone ignores him...........he goes away. ;-)

I've posted the first installment of what I hope will be a "happy" tale
on the Pacific NW Boating site. The item does mention two companies
with which I am doing business, and due to that fact it would receive a
mixed reaction here. I have mentioned my boat project in the past, but
here are some additional details for anybody interested:

Hey, according to my site manager's info sheet, there are now a total
of 7 subscribers to that group.
Another 35 or so and I'll probably eclipse rec boats. :-)
