Hey Krause, my offer stands: Prove to the "reasonable man" standard that
(1) you have a degree from Yale, (2) your wife is a medical doctor, and (3)
that you own a lobster boat and I'll overnight a $10,000.00 check to the
charity of your choice in your name.

Harry,
Darn that is an actual offer. Harry with the Christmas season upon us, why
don't you make a very easy contribution to your favorite charity? The best
part of this charity donation is it cost you nothing.

Pu-lease.

The man is a proven liar.

Everything he posts here is fabrication...house (I've seen his real
house), boat, wife, education...everything.

But tell you what Krause...I too will donate $10,000.00 to your
favorite charity, if you can post proof that my father owns a
sea-going full scale boat...as you have claimed many many times.

Heck, Ill even let you have Gene sleuth for you.

So how about it?

(The first step in creating a contract is identifying the parties
involved. Since nobody knows who you are, you might as well promise
$10,000,000.00. It would be equally meaningless. Making conditional
promises about things you will do "if" is ridiculous when
you cannot be held accountable)

An observation from a guy who has no interest in "defending Harry,"
(Harry can take care of himself, and does, very adequately.):

Aren't at least a few of the folks in the current pig piles on Harry
and Basskisser supposed to be getting spiritually prepared for what a
recently touted book declares the "most sacred Christian holiday" of
the year?

Will these personal attack threads continue until midnight of the 24th?
Will they stop long enough for the religious ceremony where well-to-do
people give other well-to-do people consumerist baubles and/or
expensive luxuries to emulate "God's gift of His son for our redemption
and to a lesser extent the chests of gold, frankincense and myhr
brought to the baby Jesus by the Persian astrologers"?

It is easily predicted that a chorus of wailing voices will respond,
"Gould, you hypocrite, why don't you chastise Krause for starting a lot
of this?" Harry does start a lot of it. It wouldn't be unreasonable to
say that he deserves much of what he gets in return.
Difference is, he isn't griping about the incursion of the secular
world into his Christian life, or the corruption of his sacred
religious holiday by people who would dare to say "Happy Holidays" or
"Seasons Greetings" rather than "Merry Christmas". Difference is also,
the
folks who are offended by non-Christian comments or observations of the
solstice holiday
usually claim to subscribe to a philosophy where one "turns the other
cheek" when attacked- rather than a philosophy where the one attacked
recruits a gang of people hiding behind phony names to launch a barrage
of insults for purposes of retaliation and escalation.

I guess maybe my general question is: When does this Christmas season
start? If it has started, are the pig piles and attack threads
consistent with the type of behavior one should engage in to observe
it? If it hasn't started, will the pig piles and attack threads
diminish when it does? If it hasn't started, why would anybody be upset
with references to "holiday" rather than Christmas on any given day?
Are certain non-Christian actions or statements more acceptable than
others? Does it make some sort of difference if the person engaged in
non-Christian behavior is all the while professing an overwhelming
concern for Christian behavior and expecting or demanding it from
others? It's pretty confusing. Would somebody please explain the rules?

Kevin gets what he deserves Chuck. His posts contain vulgar language and
one or more of the following: idiot, nitwit, dolt, ignorant, dumb...and so
on.

Here is a list over the past days:

=========================

12-14-05
Just to show what an ignorant twit you are..

....you lying piece of ****.

But, seeing how you are just dumb, and can't comprehend, let's recap.

12-13-05

(Kevin behaved himself today)

12-12-05

Grow up, you ****ing baby.

.... idiot.

Too poor of a ****bag to live up to your word?

... dip****.

idiot.

12-9-05

Idiot.

You must be dumber than a post.

None of your ****ing business, how's that?

You idiot,

Uh, perhaps because *I* didn't make the statement, dumb ass.

If you are dumb enough to ask a question like that, an answer would
escape your grasp.

IT's a REPUBLICAN law, in the STATE OF FLORIDA, you dip****!!!!

You actually have the audacity to criticize others here, when you in fact,
are the
lowest piece of **** here.

I've known some nasty little assholes in my day, but you take the cake.

Okay, you notice I specifically asked Bill, but alas, everyone here
knows about your inability to comprehend anything.

12-8-05

Are you SO ****ing dumb that you can't figure out one simple, little
thing?

I'm not Kevin, you low life liar.

I'm not Kevin, you dolt.

Crap, I knew you wouldn't be bright enough to figure it out!

Unless, of course you are just posting in ignorance, as usual.

You aren't very bright are you?

What an ignorant low life piece fo crap you are. You've been proven as
such right here in this thread.

I'm not Kevin, but you are dumb as a post:

Grow up, you brainless little **** stain.

BUT, you are so stupid, you don't understand that by REPLYING TO ME, you
are, indeed, doing those things TO ME.

12-7-05

By the way, when are YOU going to stop the personal insults?

Are you REALLY that stupid??

I'm not Kevin, idiot.

Then grow up, and quit trying to follow in JimH's and John and Fritz's
footsteps as "I can do it, but if you do, you're evil" bull****.

I'm not Kevin, you dip****.

Why is it that you chastise some people for insults, when YOU insult?

All of them, but I think you have to come to terms with your liquor
demons first.

Dislexics of the world, untie! (I just had to throw this one in.)

I'm not Kevin, you dolt.

According to one of your circle jerk buddies, Smithers, you must obtain
direct
permission from the author. Or is that just another of the examples of
you and your circle jerk club don't have to, but the ones you don't
agree with must?? Pretty childish, wouldn't you say?

No, you idiot, those assumptions were made by ME

You're easily amused. Smithers lies, then you eat it like a kid eating
a bugger.

Get off your high horse. You're starting to act like a pesky
little gnat. Nothing to worry about, but just a bother.

Don't cry, John....your whining is pathetic. Go have another drink.

12-6-05

You must be one lousy chess player to make an ignorant statement like
that!

I know that your comrehension and over all understanding of a thread is
hard what with your excessive alcohol abuse and all, but please, try to
stay with the topic.

You are acting like a silly little kid.

It is, this group's reasons, however ARE stupid, ignorant, hate filled
and prejudice.

Now again, I posed a question just EXACTLY like you
and Fritz, and you went off the freakin' meter!!! But, you seem to
think it's acceptable for you and Fritz to do EXACTLY the same thing.
How is this?

Are you going to explain why when you demean and denigrate others, it's
okay, but when someone not in your circle jerk club do it, it's bad?

I'm not Kevin you idiot.

================

Why do you defend Kevin? Do you condone that sort of behavior here Chuck?

That's not the point.

My question has to do with the consistency of people who so prioritize
their Christian values that they take offense when one person wishes
another "Happy Holidays," but then engage in making sure that bad or
hateful behavior is responded to with equally bad or worse hateful
behavior to assure that the original offender gets what he or she
"deserves."
Is that what the founder of the Christian faith would have done? If
not, is it inconsistent for a professed Christian to engage in such
activity during the "most sacred Christian holiday" season of the year?

Heck, nobody's perfect. But if it's offensive to some folks to see any
non-Christian symbols or celebrations during the month of December,
wouldn't many of those same people make more of an effort to model
Christian behavior? Hey, maybe they are actually doing so- I don't
know. Would never claim to be an expert. :-)

don't care what "christians" to celebrate their holidays publicly, so
long as that celebration does not involve tax dollars, public property,
or public officials acting as public officials. If Presidummy and Mrs.

business, so long as no government funds are involved.

We agree that Harry's own behavior precipitates much of the reaction.
He trolls, his targeted species bites.

We disagree that people responding to negative comments or personal

can condemn the original poster for making them if they engage in
equally heinous
behavior, or worse, as they respond.

Funny, I didn't think my remarks were aimed toward only a single side
of the fence.
I still maintain that anybody, conservative, liberal, moderate, or what
-not, who would presume to demand that other people behave in a certain
manner during a certain season in order to demonstrate "respect" for
his/her religious belief would be more convincing in those demands if
he or she also behaved in a manner that demonstrated a respect for the
same belief. I'm not sure why you felt that wouldn't apply to
everybody, but it does. (Those who feel that my comments couldn't
possibly apply to them will take no offense).

Here is a list over the past days:

Reverend Jim, what do you say about someone who posts questions with
the intent to make someone believe he is being truthful, when he is
not, then when the person turns around and does exactly the same to
you, you cry and whine like a baby?

Reverend Jim, what do you say about someone who is such a low life scum
that when someone doesn't agree with him, or proves him wrong, that he
resorts to such low practices as saying nasty, uncalled for things
about that person's dead mother, his wife, and even his children?

Reverend Jim, what do you say about someone who continually insults,
then turns around and whines about people being insulting?

Reverend Jim, what do you say about someone who tells lies about others
here, then turns around and chastises others for lying?

Reverend Jim, you've done all of the above. You are such a low life
that you've even gone so far as to insult my children. THAT, my friend
proves to everyone here just what a piece of **** you are. No one here,
except maybe Fritz, who's nose is constantly in your ass, would agree
that THAT behavior is anything that a real man would engage in. But,
alas, you have.

================================

12-14-05

Just to show what an ignorant twit you are..

....you lying piece of ****.

So, how'd your wife get so greedy that she made you sell your boat, asshole?

But, seeing how you are just dumb, and can't comprehend, let's recap.

You nasty little cocksucker.

You are such a low life ****ing loser

12-5-05 (Kevin behaved today).

Sorry, John, you're still an idiot

12-2-05

How's THAT for a childish buffoon!!

Old Jim doesn't even
realize what an idiot he's being!!

Jim's like that, it's just more of his childish antics. I think I've
solved it. He is a child messing with his parent's computer. It makes
sense. The moped, his childish actions here, his holier-than-thou
attitude, his petty name calling and lies.......

No, let me explain it to YOU, asshole. I"m not Kevin.

Care to answer that, you little twerp?

I'm not Kevin, little boy (or girl?) Now, I know that you're still in
grade school, but if you want to play here, please learn to read.

Notice that your circle jerk buddy didn't ask what new features there
were, etc.

Why is it that you can't act like an adult? Come to think of it, the moped
thing
makes sense. As does your spineless back down when I offered to meet
you last summer. You're actually a kid trying to act grown up on
mommy's computer, aren't you?

Fritz, I"m glad that you've realized your problem, and good luck with
your recovery.

But, funny thing is, all of the chastising
he does, it's quite all right if one of his circle jerk members, or he
does it.

As do you and the rest of your circle jerk club, especially JimH, the
child/man

11-29-05 to 21-2-05
What else have you "contributed" to this newsgroup besides insults and lies?

Congratulations, you've proven yourself a bigger asshole than most expected.
What a ****y little twit you are.

you idiot.

Hmm, this from a person who constantly whines about others cut and
pasting......

you idiot.

your still acting like a spoiled little child.

See, you're very good at proving yourself a childish idiot!!!

you idiot.

Well, are you going to answer, idiot?

Uh, before you start that drivel, you'd be best to do some checking, or else
you'll make yourself look REALLY dumb!

you idiot.

Damn you are a simpleton aren't you?

you childish little twit.

You see, anyone with any brains that was trying to act childish like you,
would ask the question in a manner that wouldn't implicate them.

you idiot.

I love it when you act so stupid!!

What a dolt!

Grow up. I mean, you are so childish

you idiot.

I'll try to dumb it down even more for you.

I know you're not too bright, and thus don't understand things well

YOU, you dumb idiot

God DAMN!!!!! How ****ing stupid are you?

you idiot.

Oh, please, do tell the group! OR, is it that you are posting ignorantly?

you idiot.

I take it you don't comprehend well, huh?

I don't you idiot.

I don't understand how someone can be as stupid as you seem to be.

you idiot.

you are useless as ahuman being.

if you keep THAT **** up, next time I'm in Cleveland, I'll look you up no
matter what little pussy excuse
you'll come up with.

**** you.

What a spineless little asshole you are.

you idiot.

you dumb ****.

Do it, or are you scared that you'll find out just how stupid you are, and
how childish you sound?

Ouch. that is a long list.

I don't know what I did wrong, but my kids have never asked for Christmas
presents. We have always purchased them presents, but I think they wanted
to be completely surprised. My wife did not believe pretending there was a
Santa (she didn't like the idea of lying to them, even with someone as
innocent as Santa Claus), so that might be the reason they never got into
the long list of Christmas presents.

As the kids got older, it becomes harder and harder to figure out what they
really want. You have to start earlier in the year planning and (heaven
help us) I actually have to listen to what they are talking about.

You are supposed to wait till at least Christmas Eve before opening the
gifts. : )

I can't remember the last time we actually opened them on Christmas morning,
we have always waited till midnight on Christmas Eve to open them.

Many times I actually get an item I can use on my boat. My daughter
purchased me a Bosom's Whistle one year, because she liked to joke that I
was Captain Bligh on the boat.

I hope you like my antidotal personal stories I am conveying in my posts.

Hmmm. Let me try again. It brews a single cup at a time, but its water
reservoir holds enough for six cups. It uses little single-service cups of
coffee which you pop in and in a minute or so, a cup of freshly brewed
coffee pours out into your cup. If you want another cup, you pop in
another little single-service cup of coffee.

reservoir holds enough for six cups. It uses little single-service cups of
coffee which you pop in and in a minute or so, a cup of freshly brewed
coffee pours out into your cup. If you want another cup, you pop in
another little single-service cup of coffee.

I presume its next to your computer, as its obvious you don't get for
hours at a time.

On that same note, does your doctor doctor wife put a catheter in, or
do you use a bucket?

Harry,

I didn't say you were a Christian, but if you are celebrating the holiday of
Christmas, most people wait till Christmas to open the presents. If you are
Jewish then you want to wait until Hanukkah which will start after sundown
on the Dec. 25th. Do you find it difficult to wait. I know I do, as I
said, my family normally open our presents after midnight on Christmas Eve.

No, I don't write often and as you can see, when I do I often make typos due
to my clumsy fingers. The worst part is my spell checker can come up with
very humorous substitutes words.

I appreciate you highlighting these errors, if helps me do better on future
posts.

Harry,

You are supposed to wait till at least Christmas Eve before opening the

I can't remember the last time we actually opened them on Christmas
morning, we have always waited till midnight on Christmas Eve to open
them.

Many times I actually get an item I can use on my boat. My daughter
purchased me a Bosom's Whistle one year, because she liked to joke that I
was Captain Bligh on the boat.

I hope you like my antidotal personal stories I am conveying in my posts.

1. I'm not Christian.
2. What do you do with a bosom whistle? Warn off teats?
3. There isn't enough "antidotal" here to clean this newsgroup of the scum
you leave every time you post.

Write much, a**hole?

Harry,
You have stated many times you celebrate the holiday of Christmas, even
though you are not a Christian. I am sure I can Google it up very easily.

3. As I previously communicated to you, I am not interested in your
observations, opinions, suggestions, whatever. I rarely read past the
first line or two of your foul-smelling excretions here.

Got it?

Wow. It appears that at least three people here on rec.boats are willing to
make generous donations to good causes. May I suggest that each of you just
send your checks to your own favorite charity and stop worrying about
lobsta' boats?

I am truly impressed though. Very charitable newsgroup, rec.boats.

Don,
You and I think alike, 12:01 is Christmas Day.

All the rest of my family like to harass me and say we have to wait till
the morning. Most of the time, they want to open them too, but it is more
fun to harass me.
