Three weeks of simulated flight training in Bangladore, and they'll be flying United. I hope I can avoid public transportation for the next few months. There is no homeland security in this country these days, and the Metro in DC is a prime target. My wife uses it to get around downtown more than I do, and I've asked her to take cabs, instead. I gave up on the airlines 10-15 years ago. I'll only fly when there's really no other practical choice. I don't like their "acceptable casualties" formula. |
