I have had 1997 350 with electronic Ignition. Can anyone offer advise on
how to properly set the timing on this puppy?

A few weeks back, one of the cable channels had a show about a race mechanic
reprogramming the computer in a stock Mustang. He used a laptop and a bank
of instruments, with the car on one of those test beds with the back wheels
on rollers (dynamometer?). Didn't look like something you'd want to attempt
without knowing what you're doing.

How about investing in the service manual?
