The 4.3 liter engine would well worth the extra money.
The 3.0 liter may seem like it has enough power for now, but once you get used to the boat, you will be wanting more horsepower. Carl G. Craver (Chaparral dealer/tech.) "Petey the Wonder Dog" wrote in message ... I'm about to order a Chapparal 190 I/O. I can get either the 3.0 Volvo or the 4.3. Can someone tell me the difference in speed between the two. I understand that most recommendations will be to the larger engine, but cost is a consideration at $2000 higher for the 4.3. Before I make a decision, can I get some factual differences between the two? Thanks a lot in advance. Dave |
