They are definitely better than a Bud Lite. so-so wheat beer is just that, GOOD wheat beer, however, is a great experience. Commercially, try Blue Moon, love the stuff. I too, hate it when they use too much lemon or some such to mask the taste of a so-so beer. But, give Sierra Nevada Wheat Beer a try, you'll be pleasantly surprised. I liked it so well that after trying some, I found a cloned recipe and made my first wheat beer. I didn't brew any wheat beer before, because like you I didn't find them to be anything exceptional. |
