Why don't we make this easy and just ask Don. It was a fairly common
beer.

Sorry...my beer drinking is very limited. I tend to stick with something
I like. Got sick so many times as a teenager on warm beer that I am very
fussy now. Up till the 70's beers were very regional...it cost more to
drink brands from Montreal or Ontario and since we are a bit isolated
here with a small population and high shipping costs. Now the choice is
much better but I stick with my 'Blue'. I have never heard of the brand
I.P.A. but that means nothing.....lots of regional beers produced from
Newfoundland to British Columbia.

He he...so Me Again...you were just testing me.
I thought I'd better look through the Microbreweries here in Atlantic
Canada, and what do I see from the old Moosehead plant in
Dartmouth...taken over by 'Maritime Breweries'

note: in the last number of years, everyone & his dog are brewing beer
on site now. Reminds me of a letter that one of the Boston 'lace hanky'
crowd sent back home while visiting here in the 1700s
He reported that there were about 1000 houses in the town with 100
licensed to sell liquor, plus another 100 unlicensed doing the same.
He said it seemed that the business of half the populace was to sell
liquor and the other half to drink it.
Ah...those uppity New Englanders.....!
