basskisser, thanks for the list of Yamaha centers in the US that you
provided. I spoke with head office for Yamaha Motor Corporation,
U.S.A. in Cypress, CA -- see below:

Tel: 714-761-7300
Fax: 714-761-7302

Key People
? President: Shohei Kato
? CFO: Nicky Mizuta

We went through your list. Guess what -- none (to the best of her
knowledge, and she said she'd know) are unionized. Now, did you tell a
lie, or were you simply misinformed by your intelligence sources
(Harry, I assume).

John H

Sorry, John, you are either misinformed, or lying. The person I talked
to told me to the best of his knowledge, that all Yamaha owned
companies operating in the U.S. are unionized. Whom did you speak to?

RTFP!

John H

Again, John, WHO DID YOU SPEAK TO? By the way, I used the toll free number.

Didn't write down her name. The phone number I used was *not* an 800
number, and if you will Read The F***ing Post, you'll have the phone
number.

John H

Let me get this straight. You go to all of the trouble to call a long
distance number, take the time to go over every single Yamaha U.S.A.
owned distribution center, administrative offices, parts warehouses,
transportation facilities, etc., to try and prove me wrong, and don't
bother to get the person's name you were talking with? Either your not
bright, or lying. By the way, the toll free number I used goes to the
exact same place, the headquarters in Cypress, CA.

OK, I'll answer you one last time. I did not go through the entire
list of every single Yamaha USA etc, etc. I went through the list you
provided. You said they were all unionized. I need find only one
non-unionized from your list to prove you a liar. I did so.

Now suck it up. I'm finished with you - you're a waste of time.

John, once more....WHO DID YOU SPEAK TO? And, again, are you REALLY
trying to tell me that you called this person (a female) and went over
the entire list I gave you, and had this long conversation, KNOWING
that you were going to use this as "evidence" that Yamaha doesn't use
organized labor, and also were going to post this on rec.boats, to the
scrutiny of others, and didn't get a name?? Now, WHICH corporation
that I gave you, did this mystery lady say wasn't unionized? The
people I've spoken to have a totally different story.

Here you go with your love for unions again basskisser, with all the damage
unions have done to the west, one must wonder how you can still associate
let alone defend unions.
Give your head a shake.

Yup, all sorts of damage, child labor laws, 40 hour work week, safe
working conditions, living wage. You can argue they have outlived their
usefulness, but on the whole, unions have done far more good than damage.

Where did I say that I love unions? I simply stated that Yamaha
U.S.A.'s operations centers, distribution centers, etc. use organized
labor. You don't have a freakin' CLUE what the thread was about.
Where did I "defend" unions?

Bridge? basskisser is a bridge to land of the idiots...and you're his toll

What an ignorant putz you are. You continue to amaze me with your
stupidity. I mean, look at you, you have NOTHING of any substance to
interject into the thread, yet continue to blather.

What to hell IS your problem? I NEVER said that YOU used an 800
number! I said I did. The fact remains, you are a liar. Are you saying
that you called a long distance number, had this long conversation
about each and every Yamaha U.S.A. factory, distribution center, parts
warehouses, etc., all for the sake of an argument, but for the ensuing
argument, didn't get the person's name you were citing FOR that
argument? Just for your information, the toll free number goes to the
same exact place that you claim you called, Cypress, CA. Try again,
John.

Done with you.

John H

Just as I figured. You lied, and have nothing to substantiate your statements.
